Squats: 135 x 10, 135 x 10, 135 x 10, 185 x 8, 225 x 5
SLDL: 135 x 15, 155 x 10, 185 x 8
1-Leg Extension: 70 x 12, 80 x 10, 90 x 8

Also did 4 sets of calf raises

Before y'all go bashin me for my squat numbers being so low, whenever I get heavy, I tend to lean forward and push off the balls of my feet instead of my heels and it puts a lot of pressure on my knees.  I decided to start light and gradually work my way up and work on my form.  185 felt good, but when I got to 225 I started with the bad form.

I had an exam at 8 this morning and then came back and fell asleep so I didn't eat much before I worked out, so by the end I felt really weak, but exams are OVER! semester is OVER! no more stressin over school. WOOOOOOO Smile

oh yea, with the big paycheck, I'll be able to afford some weight gainer

I think I'ma get this one
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/un/mj.html
19 servings 1021 Calories for $31 and some change after shipping.  I just don't wanna spend like $45 at gnc or something when I'm only getting 5-7 servings.  I'm gonna wait and then start this at the beginning of the new year

Standing Shoulder Press: 95 x 12, 95 x 12, 115 x 10, 135 x 6
Rear Delt Cable Flies: 30 x 12, 30 x 12, 30 x 12
Seated Side Raises: 10 x 10, 10 x 10
Barbell Curls: 85 x 10, 85 x 10, 85 x 10
1-arm Preacher Curls: 25 x 10, 25 x 10

I didn't do back cuz I didn't feel like doing deads today and I'm not gonna do a back workout without them so instead I just did shoulders/bi's.  Tomorrow will be legs/tri's, then back/bi's, then chest/tri's on thursday.

Hopefully I can get 4 workouts in cuz I'm goin' down to Birmingham, Alabama on Thursday.

Front Squats: 135 x 8, 135 x 8, 135 x 8, 135 x 8
Leg Press: (# plates) 4 x 12, 4 x 12, 5 x 10, 6 x 8
Leg Curls: 90 x 10, 90 x 10, 90 x 10
Pushdowns: 120 x 15, 120 x 15, 150 x 15, 150 x 15
Dips: 10, 10

Legs and Tri's today.  I did front squats and it helped a LOT.  I think I'm gonna start doing them instead of back squats just because as I said in my last leg workout post, it takes the pressure off of my knees.  So, yea front squats it is from now on.

Pull Ups: 12, 10, 10, 8
Deadlifts: 225 x 10, 225 x 10, 275 x 6, 275 x 6
T-Rows: 135 x 10, 135 x 10, 135 x 10, 135 x 10
Shrugs: 315 x 10, 315 x 10, 315 x 10
DB Curls: 35 x 10, 35 x 10, 35 x 10

My lower back was a little sore today, but not in a lifting way but like i did something, but it wasn't going to keep me from going to the gym.  on my last 2 sets of deads (275) I coulda gone 10 reps, but I didn't wanna chance it.  Also, I didn't go as heavy on the rows cuz I didn't wanna take a chance hurting my back.  Oh, and I went heavier on my shrugs just for acevcali. Smile

I never understood how people could get a workout with 3 sets per bodypart.. but i sure as hell figured it out today

Flat DB Bench: 90 x 10, 90 x 10, 90 x 8

thats all. every rep I squeezed the whole rep and felt it through the whole chest.  when I got done with those 3 sets the only thing I could do was leave the gym.

oh yea, I'm leavin to go out of town tonight.  Saturday Dec. 23 at 1 pm est on ESPN 2 the papajohns.com bowl.  y'all watch it. that's where I'll be.  go east carolina!!

Those sets with the really controlled reps are quite the b*tch, aren't they?

ok so here's the deal..

haven't worked out in 10 days due to vacation, work schedule, school gym being on limited scehdule, (insert more excuses here).

BUT- good news.  I started barbacking at work so I get tips (made over 200 tonight), and I'm also cooking still (oh yea, the minimum wage is moving up a dollar starting today.. and I got a raise) so I will be making more money now which means..
-no more making 20 dollars worth of groceries last me 2 weeks
-I can afford supps again (I'lll order my weight gainer next Saturday)
I guess thats about it, but I will be able to afford to buy groceries so I can actually eat and get those extra calories that I so desperately need.

ok, all that aside, since it is a new year, I will go ahead and make my (weight lifting) resolutions:
1.  Bulk to 205-210
2.  Cut down to 6-8% bodyfat
3.  Continue to work on my form for squats, and be able to rep 315
4.  Bench 365 - thats been my goal since I hit 300

I think thats about all I can think of right now.  I haven't gotten a full night of sleep since my last post on here so I plan on sleeping LATE.

Rose bowl is less than 12 hours away.  GO BLUE.

DB Bench: 75 x 12, 80 x 12, 85 x 12
Incline DB: 65 x 10, 65 x 10, 65 x 10
Weighted dips: 50 x 10
Dips: 10
Tricep Pushdowns: 150 x 10, 150 x 10

for the dips, I did a dropset, weighted, then took the weight off and did it unweighted.  took about 40 minutes and it was a good workout for the first day back after almost 2 weeks.  kinda disapointed with the weights, but they'll go back up.

oops.. missed the gym today.. worked 9-4 then 8-2:30 slept in between.  but back and shoulders tomorrow.  i've also made just over 300 dollars this week so far so this weekend i'm gonna go get a new camera and get some pics up and i'm also gonna order some weight gainer.  ANDDDDD classes start friday so no more of this working every day and working doubles.  everyone will be back from break and i can go back to only working about 4 days a week so i'll be able to get my diet right and get on a regular schedule.

ok.. had a week off, then got sick, but now I'm back to about 98%.. went to the grocery store today and got food.. weight gainer shoiuld be here tomorrow.

diet is looking like this:
~3500 calories
~225 g Protein
~50 g Fat (most coming from the weight gainer)

Hopefully I'll pack on some muscle.  I'm gonna do a 3 day split.  5x5.  Damn I can't wait to get back in the gym.

I'm thinking something along these lines:

Day 1 - Push
Bench Press 5 x 5
Shoulder Press 5 x 5
Weighted Dips 5 x 5

Day 2 - Pulls
Wide Grip Chins 5 x 5
Bent Over Rows 5 x 5
Deadlifts 5 x 5

Day 3 - Legs
Front Squats 5 x 5
Stiff Leg Deadlifts 5 x 5
Calf Raises 5 x 15

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Focusing on main compound lifts.  Lifting heavy and hard when I go in there and then eating and growing outside the gym.

Bench Press: 225 - 5 x 5
Standing Shoulder Press: 120 - 5 x 5
Weighted Dips: 80 - 5 x 5
Cable Crunches: 200 - 5 x 10

Burnout on dips - 35

Today was pretty good. burnt out on dips as right before I walked out and did 35 straight, no pauses between reps. Happy with the weights, but I know they will be going up.  Question about diet and if anyone can help, please do:

~3500 Calories
~220-230g Protein
~60g Fat
~300g Carbs
I'm trying to gain weight.  Are the numbers (especially for Carbs and Fat too high, too low, or are they good?)

thanks

EATING.  LOTS.  3500 calories on paper didn't seem like that much food but DAMMN.
