Wow, I guess I'm done with four weeks now. Didn't realize that. A little update: Arms: +0.5" Chest: +1" Calves and Thighs: stayed the same but I can't complain seeing how I've missed leg days. The upper chest is starting pop out more than it has before, but my damn traps are lagging as I said before. Bodyfat looks to be the same-if the lighting is right I can see a couple abs. Bodyweight has stayed between 185-188 when I've checked it. Hopefully it will go up soon.

I also decided today that I'm gonna continue this workout until the middle of december (right at exam time). then that week I am going to max out on my core lifts so I have an idea of where I am at. Then, I will take a week off and start back up at the beginning of the new year.

Thursday November 9, 2006 Squats: 45 x 15, 135 x 10, 185 x 8, 225 x 6, 245 x 6, 255 x 6, 275 x 3 SLDL/Squat Superset: 135 x 10 (both exercises), 135 x 10 (both exercises) Military Press: 135 x 6, 135 x 6 DAMN!! today killed me. I put up some good numbers on squats today (for me). 255 x 6 is a new personal record for me. By the time I got to military presses I was worn out and could only manage 2 sets. Also decided to throw in a STDL/squat superset instead of lunges. Only doing 135 KILLED me after a set of STDL's. It was a good workout tho, I feel great now.

well I went on Friday to the gym before I went home for the weekend and got a pretty good arm workout in. I don't remember the weights so I won't log them. Then, today, I had some stuff going on and only had time to go to the little 'gym' that they have at the apartment. I did some incline on the smith machine and some incline flies and thats all I had time for.

AHHHH!!! I've done it again. I got to the what is this the 5th? 6th? week of my workout and I've gotten bored with it and want to change it up again. Wasn't into the little workout I had yesterday. Walked into the gym today, did 5 sets of t-bar rows, and walked out. Just wasn't into it. So, I will change my workout once again. I'm gonna do some light lifting the rest of the week and then start something up again next week.. I'll be looking around and trying to find a workout to follow or model something around. I've been doing low reps for a while, even before I started this log, so I am gonna move up to the 8-12 rep range. We'll see. Out.

Wednesday November 29, 2006 Arnold Press: 40 x 12, 45 x 10, 50 x 6 Lateral Raises: 10 x 10, 10 x 10 Front Raises: 10 x 10, 10 x 10 Bent Over Laterals: 10 x 10, 10 x 10 I think I'm gonna start doing legs and shoulders together and that will put me in the gym about 60 minutes. I went to the gym at the apartment today 'cuz I wanna make sure I am at the bar for the Carolina game tonight. Go Heels. Tomorrow I'll hit legs and a couple arm exercises. My split is WAY off 'cuz of goin out of town the last few weekends, but it'll get back on track soon enough. I also started back on creatine on monday. I'm doing a "loading phase" right now and taking one serving pre and one serving post workout. After this week I'll go down to one serving post workout.

Its the end of the semester, so I have a bunch of exams and stuff due. Had a project due this morning and a test this morning so I didn't sleep at all last night. Took a nap this afternoon, then decided to go lift. The first 2 sets were warmup sets, and then when I got done with my third set, I got really light headed and felt like I was going to throw up so I said screw this. Monday December 4, 2006 Leg Press: 180 x 15, 270 x 15, 360 x 12, 450 x 12, 540 x 10

Hey, good work so far! Been following your progress since you started your journal. Finals time is a rough time, man. Use exercising as a stress-reliever. But don't push yourself so hard--you'll risk getting sick, and it's an awful experience to sit for an exam when you're feeling miserable!

Wednesday December 6, 2006 T-Bar Rows: 90 x 15, 135 x 12, 160 x 10, 180 x 8 Deadlifts: 225 x 12, 245 x 10, 245 x 8 Pull Ups: (Bodyweight) 10, 10 Shrugs: 225 x 8, 225 x 8, 225 x 8 By the time I got done with the rows and deadlifts, I could barely move. Did those 2 exercises with no straps, same with the 2 sets of pullups. I wanted to do 4 sets of pull ups, but by the time I got to the 3rd set, I couldn't hold on. I tried to use straps but I just couldn't pull myself up. I was dead. On the shrugs I held each rep for a 3 count at the top. Also with the deads, since it was first time in about a month, I didn't wanna get the weight too heavy. I am also not using straps unless its the last set and its heavy weight so I can work my grip strength up. I think thats all I have for today.

Friday December 8, 2006 Standing Shoulder Press: 95 x 12, 105 x 10, 115 x 8 Lateral Raises: 10 x 10, 10 x 10 Bent Over Lateral Raises: 10 x 10, 10 x 10 Cut my workout short 'cuz I remembered I had to go by the ticket office and signup for the trip to the bowl game andI only had 30 minutes to get there. I'll hit bi's and tri's tomorrow and then next week hit arms with shoulders like I was planning on doing today and cut it back to 4 workouts a week.

damn son your cetching up to me on your lifts! 80lb DB's 3x8 Not to shabby at all! I like your DB flies too. Your incline isnt to bad either. 85lb dbs on that last set of 8! nice! Really starting to look good man. I think you can go heavier on your Shrugs though You using a free bar for shrugs or smith.
