Not before bed, eh?  I didn't know that, and that's what I've been doing.  What's the deal with not taking it before bed?

There is NOT a specific problem with taking it before bed.

However, for people not accustomed to taking supplements, there is a gut clearance issue.
Powder changes the permeability and some people can experience discomfort at bed time.
I prefer not to see powder in the gut at bed time for a beginner.

I like to see the creatine in the system an hour from training to get sent everywhere with the increased blood flow of training.  There is research to show that this is beneficial as far as delivery.

Also, at bed, the blood flow to extremities relaxes (rest and digest!)

Though, I do not mind to see things an hour or more from bed, so long as they are not stimulants.

Naturally there are some slight exceptions.

Creatine is one of the key energy systems in the body.
The body maintains a set amount in the system based on your diet.
Supplementing simply raises the amount that the body maintains.

When this increases, in addition to all the other benefits...
(Read this to see what we know about the benefits
http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/Creatine_Reviewing_what_we_know/m_295206/tm.htm)

The amount of water retained IN MUSCLE along with the increased Creatine increases.
Muscle IS about 75% water.
Putting more water in your muscle, often referred to as volumizing muscle, increases their ability to GROW.

quote:

how soon do u think untill i see some VISIBLE changes

What you will notice in about 4-8 weeks, depending on your diet and training, is that you can train more intensely.
You recover faster between sets, allowing you to train with greater vigor.

It is possible to see a gain of 3-10 pounds in that time.  Most being water but some may be muscle as well.

If you read that link I gave above you see that creatine does some great things for the training athlete and their body.

I use glass mason jars because they are NOT plastic and because they are easier to clean.
I use them to carry MRPs when at the University and sometimes to mix my protein.  I do prefer to blend some things that are hydrophobic (don't mix well.)   Also, creatine I just take a swig of water and put the TSP in my mouth.  Then mix and swallow it.  For me creatine has no flavor.

i could be wrong but didn't dan gastelu mention how creatine in pill form can become another chemical if on the shelves too long before bought?

The exception is creatine in a liquid form.
DO NOT buy liquid creatine.

Naturally if you buy a product after the shelf life date has expired...it MAY have lost potency beyond the labeled amount.

First, is if pure creatine?
Look at the label.  It should say:
Ingredients: Creatine Monohydrate.

If not, what is in it?

Also, drinking water can lead to going more...your body wants to maintin a steady blood pressure, which means maintaining the balance of fluids!

That has certain restrictions.  It is possible to overhydrate if you hyper-consume water.
But let us just say, yes, you should be sipping water all the time. Smile

Is your water spring or distilled...I find distilled makes me pee more.

Use them as they should be used.

Cytogainer and mass tech are meal replacement powders.
