You did put on some white stuff, but you didn't lose (or so it appears) an ounce of muscle. You have a lot of mass Piece o' cake. (or protein shake). Let's see some pics at 1 month and 2 months, and you'll be making "transformation" commercials.

Quoth the black cat, quote:
I seriously underestimated the difficulty of getting back into solid training after 9 weeks off. Its not easy at all!!! The soreness is unbearable (but good). I have a feeling itll take me a few weeks yet to get back into a solid rhythm and routine. I dont want to push too hard as ive just come back from 2 and a bit months off. Easy does it. I feel you, bro. I definitely feel you. The good news is, fourteen days and seven meager workouts into my own bounce-back, I feel fine. You know as well as I do that you'll be tossing iron around again in a matter of days. Maybe not supersets and all that craziness, but believe me, the train seldom derails very far from the tracks First week back in it, I couldn't sit for the searing pain in my glutes, and I couldn't stand for the piercing soreness in my calves. God, it was sublime Are you still going to throttle up for cutting? Cause you've got SICK amounts of beef there to shred down to -and, like I told Greg, you're not far at all from that ideal. Damnit, man! Carpe Beastness!

Yes, that's me in my avatar, and NO, I don't look like that today. That was taken back in Jan '07, and I lost most of that progress when I slacked off last year. I'm on my way back, tho, and I'm using that photo for inspiration.

I am about to hit my legs in a few hours - not looking forward to the torture... As for cutting, well i would love to cut but i feel so out of shape and 'small' that i actually want to put back the muscle mass that ive lost so im sorta stuck wanting to do 2 things at the same time which we know is not very plausible. My original goal was to get to 96kg at which point would have enough muscle mass, then i would cut down to 91kg (200lbs) to be at a single digit BF%. I cant be any bigger than 200lbs as I start to lose my agility in cricket as a wicketkeeper (cricket? you say. Whats that?!?). I cant dive as quick or as far. Basically i want the ultimate athletic body. Like what you see on the front of the mens health magazines. I still have a long way to go but im pretty sure at 200lbs @ 9% BF, i will resemble, more closely, one of those guys. Ive already noticed some fat loss without putting too much effort on the cardio side as ive stopped eating all that fatty curry i was on my working-holiday, and all this exercise has enormously increased my metabolic rate (im doing a pretty insane volume-heavy routine for the next 2-3 weeks, then wil switch to an intensity-routine, i.e. supersets). All this, plus eating properly again, 6 times a day with high protein, has already ensured that some of the fat is lost. I think within 2-3 weeks, if i keep this up and throw in some cardio, i will be close to where i was before the break. CARPE BEASTNESS!!

Ok, long time no update. Heres how things stand right now: In the last 5-6weeks, i have somehow managed to go from bf of 21% to 16% and i am determined to get down to around 12%. Mind you, my weight has dropped from 92kg to 88kg which equals around 5kg of fat. I am still not happy. I feel really scrawny but fat at the same time. My end goal is 200lbs at 9-10% as ive mentiond before. Right now i am 193.6lbs at 16%. while im 7kg lighter at the same bf% before i went holiday, im pretty sure once i tweak my training so its not to energy-demanding, and up my calories, the muscle will come back soon enough so im not TOO fussed. So here it is - my short term goal: 195lbs at 12% in the next 3 months. I wont have much time to devote to training as i am currently on holidays until 1st Jan, at which point, i start work in a new hospital and, from what i hear, can expect some pretty intense shifts and timings Ill update tommorow with the program i manufactured myself & have been following with some degree of success. New stats will also be up. I might even see if i can get some photos either tommorow or day after.
