Melting Point and Basic Cuts
-
Sunday, July 23, 2006 9:42 AM
Could someone clarify why on the DS website they have basic cuts w/ xceed as a stack when caffiene messes with the affects of NO, i thought?....and if it doesnt which is better for cutting fat MP or BC, or should i just go for it and take the Full cutting stack basic cuts,MP, and lean Xtreme with Xceed+BCAAS+Glutamine Ill be starting the stack that i decide on next monday when i get back in town, and i plan on keeping a journal on here as well.

dont mix whey and xceed together, and you dont need dextrose with xceed. take your xceed 45 minutes before your workout, than take your whey 30 minutes before your workout. than take xceed immediately after your workout, and take whey 20-30 minutes postworkout

First off, Melting Point is the better pure fat burner over Basic Cuts; however, BC offers thermogenic properties that MP does not. The full cutting stack would certainly be potent as hell, entertaining to log, and interesting for us to follow along. If possible, I would love to see you run the full stack, but if you are unable to, then Melting Point with whatever else you choose would be good too.

From the Definitive XCEED thread, pinned at the top: ORIGINAL: Twin Peak ORIGINAL: durandalinfinity quick question wouldnt the xceed/basic cuts stack inhibit the NO and creatine from working 100%. From everything I've ever learned caffiene induces vaso-constriction when the NO causes vaso-expansion which is ideal especially for creatine absorbtion. This is addressed in the write-ups linked above. We do not put caffiene in XCEED for this very reason (counter to the pump effect, but not to creatine absorbtion). That said, it wouldn't eliminate the pump effect, just reduce it slightly. And some (like myself) would rather have the caffiene (and other stims) and not worry about the slight reduction in efficacy.

why dont you need dextrose to go with the whey? Does it matter if i take Mp and BC at the same times of day or should i try to space them out and just make sure i take the BC an hour preworkout?

ORIGINAL: Creation why dont you need dextrose to go with the whey? Where did this question come from? No. ORIGINAL: Creation Does it matter if i take Mp and BC at the same times of day or should i try to space them out and just make sure i take the BC an hour preworkout? Ideally you would want to take your 1 dose pre-workout of BC. The other you obviously want to space out. If you happen to take the other BC dose with the MP it does not matter.

ok cool thanks, ordering the MP, BC, Xceed, and BCAA's today :) 40 yard dash i thought you add dextrose for the insulin spike or does using the xceed already take care of that? And forgot one more thing, Do i not take xceed on rest days but take the mp and BC on rest days?

No, Xceed does not contain simple sugars or any sugars whatsoever. An insulin spike post workout is not necessary. Just take your BCAA's and Xceed post workout, then have a full meal 45 mins to an hour later. 1 serving of Xceed on off days. Your MP and BC doses stay the same throughout.
