Not necesarily...are you fat now....is your goal fat loss...

If your goal is fat loss, water is the best.

Since you are already accustomed to high caffeine, it's possible assistance in fat loss is lost.

Fat gain is a complex creature!

You might cut back on those flavored, carbonated, colored beverages....

To lose fat...just do  a little better than you have done in the days past!

drinks with Splenda brand sweetener contains no aspartame *sp and also tastes just as good as real sugar. not promoting the consumption of soda but just thought i'd add my piece. :)

Splenda is also an artificial sweetener...additionally the soda is acidic causing the body to have to buffer it..requiring more water than you can imagine...and calcium...

i just love drinking plain green iced tea. i learned to like the strong bitterness by drinking lots of unsweetened iced tea (black). the only thing i drink during the day thats sweet is probably my xtend Smile

is gatorade good to have in the morning? like before school? because i heard the only times suitable for simple carbs are upon waking and post-workout.

Not really...simple carbs by themselves post workout.

All the rest of your meals should be balanced nutrition.

But gatoraide does not fit the description of a useful supplement.  It is junk food.
