Damnit, man! You had to go and get me all fired up, and my next chest workout ain't till Saturday That's a'ight. Actually, I was thinking of doing a few sets of upper body work on what would have been my off-day (tomorrow). Today is reserved for legs, and brother, I'm going to blow these tree trunks the eff up! There will be endorphines tonight!!!

Tonight's my leg night too, and I'm vibrating with anticipation. My last leg workout was sabotaged by strange cramping, but I've been keeping them limber and rested all week in hopes that it doesn't return. I'm a little too excited though, so I'll have to take extra care to not bust myself again by jumping in to fast.

It took a trip to Primo to pack away a pound of pasta, but I am finally walking again, and my Sagi Kalev hallucination has finally disappeared from the mirror. I'm still pumped as a mo-fo, though. So now I'm gonna hit the shower before bed, just so I can revel in the sick, crazy, tossing and turning, sweating my brains out testosterone tsunami that I just inflicted

I just noticed Bret that you don't do SLDL, but instead you do hamstring curls, is there a reason for that?

Yes..... do tell Brett. Avoiding a big compound with a cable exercise? Shame on you! hahaha I got one on you! Im going to throw out a guess and say that Mr. Veggeroni doesnt have a large barbell to use for his SLDL. Although I guess he could do them on his smith-machine, but perhaps the ROM would be awkward...

Man, how'd I miss all these goodies? I've been wasting too much time trying to understand why Andy "TwistedLink" Rooney doesn't consider HDTV to be an impressive enough improvement over NTSC (or PAL, as it were) SLDLs... ahh, yes. I'll go ahead and eat the shame that WBD served up, 'cause the truth is, I DO have an olympic barbell with which to perform these and standard deadlifts -I just don't do them. No good reason. Except perhaps that I find it hard to feel the contraction in my hammies on SLDLs as profoundly as I do with curls. Now, having said that, I'm not using a cable machine for those, WBD. My hamstring curl device is plate-loaded.

BTW... Protein shake for breakfast, made with too little soy milk, is like drinking cake batter, and makes for a lot of grimmacing while curious fellow commuters give you strange "well why the hell are you drinking it, dummy??!!" looks.

Ahhh... that was fun. STUPID sick pump, y'all! Freakin' cray zee!!! And I topped it off with gobs and gobs of carbs from Primo Now I'm human again, and you'll have to pardon me one more time while I drag myself away from DBB.com to play with my latest gratuitous impulse purchase. God, I love being single

I'll give you a hint: It begins with "X" and ends with "Box", LOL! Well, I figured with my Birthday coming up, there was no point waiting to file my taxes, HA HA HA HA! Besides, I have other plans for that refund I decided against the PS3 based on the overwhelming amount of ****ing I'm hearing in the marketplace about BlueRay Disc being the next BetaMax (that and the utter inavailability of the damned thing). About the only thing I saw media-wise that seemed to be an advantage on the PS3 were the CF and SD card slots on the front, but the X-Box 360 has front USB ports for connecting cameras, and it can stream all kinds of music, pictures, and video from a Windows PC on the same network. Which begs the question: why the hell does M$ have to insist on another software service, running on the host PC, to serve up media files?? Why can't they do something intelligent, like give the X-Box 360 the ability to store a Username and password to log into other PCs on the same subnet and just use shared folders?? The Roku I bought does that Oh yeah, THAT'S why. The Roku runs Linux! Oh well. MicroShaft. What can you do? Anyway, it plays HD DVD's with a peripheral drive (which I will buy next payday), and Madden 2007 looks sick as fizzuck in 1080i
