Monday 25th september, chest and biceps 1st exercise:benchpress 1x8@ 105lbs 1x5@ 115lbs 1x8@ 110lbs 1x2@ 121lbs 1x2@ 110lbs My bench just falls to bits near the end, my benchpress strength has increased roughly by 5lbs in 4 months, and i ask myself now, whats the point? I didnt bother doing any other chest exercises, and in future wont bother with them, they dont make my chest grow, they dont make me stronger, and theyre quite frankly a damn waste of my time. exercise2:top cable curl I did a good 8 sets of 8 reps on this damng good exercise, instead of using the lower cables, use the upper ones, hold to one side of the pulldown apparatus, and pull, you get some SERIOUS pump. exercise3:hammer curls 8x5x8x5x8 8 reps at 50lbs 5 reps at 65lbs exercise4:Preacher curls 8x5x8x5x8 8 reps at 55lbs 5 reps at 65lbs This was the good part of the day, someone passed me doing preachers and said "****ing hell dude your arms are huge" Last measure they were both around 13", and theyve grown around ...nothing from what ive seen since last measuring them, at most theyre 13 1/2", and im starting to get my triceps back. Im definitely gaining a lot of weight, and somehow i dont think much of it is water weight. What i am worried about is the lack of any strength increase.

Which part of the bench press movement are you failing on?

Yeah, i need to drive by september 2007 AND have a fully licensed and insured car, because thats when il finally be going to university Not only that but driving will save loads of time getting to the gym,im always in a rush getting there and getting back, its damn annoying, with a car itl save a good hours walking NQ-the bit i usually fail at is that pivot lock, its about 5-6 inches above the chest, the most difficult part of the exercise, my arms just lock, and i cant push it anymore, sometimes im pushing with all my strength for up to 15 seconds, but my endurance runs out and i just have to signal to my spotter to take it. Im not increasing my chest strength on any other exercise either, apart from dumbell flyes, but theyve been going down recently, and my chest hardly grows, its nearly 40 inches now, and started at 39 inches. I dont want an amazing bench, but i dont want a 5lbs increase in 4 months, its just pointless.

Ok, i am extremely tired, and my legs are shaking like mad just sitting down. exercise1:Stiff legged deadlifts 1x10@ 80lbs (and surprisingly it was bloody easy) 1x10@ 155lbs 3x8@ 176lbs I would personally never have thought i could stiff leg this much, works your back out loads better though. exercise2:standard deadlift 8x5x8x5x8 8 reps at 200lbs 5 reps at 220lbs exercise3:squats-DEEP 8x5x8x5x8 8 reps at 220lbs 5 reps at 245lbs exercise4:barbell rows 8x5x8x5x8 8 reps at 110lbs 5 reps at 120lbs exercise5:shrugs 8x5x8x5x8x20 8 reps at 110lbs 5 reps at 155lbs 20 reps at 80lbs exercise6:backward dumbell flyes 22lbs dumbells. exercise7:Hyper extensions 5x10@ 25lbs plate Ive not felt this worked in a long time And i broke my promise...I weighed myself, im pretty happy with it, ive stopped creatine because of the lumps in my leg and dont really want my blood test showing im dosing up on creatine, because doctors here know NOTHING and will brand the stuff a steroid and the sole reason behind it. Theyl even say its the stuff even if i tell them ive used it loads before and it never happened. Also...I think im growing again, ive never had this happen to me, but ive broken out in spots, and my legs ****ING hurt when im sleeping, even a week after squats. I wont mind another vertical boost, but last time i had this pain i grew 10-11 inches...Id rather not be nearly 7ft LOL.

Hmm dunno, youll be surprised how much you can stiff leg...I mean, i hardly ever run, and squats and legpresses dont really use the hamstrings much, and my hamstrings are small too, and im not really a meso or anything so i dont really have natural strength or size to that degree usually. My hammies are really sore now though, which im happy about, though its 5 30 here now and i cant get back to sleep because my legs are aching so much im nearly ****ing crying. Grantoiz you reminded me of something i forgot to say here. On the way to the gym we caught up with these 2 guys who are friends of the guy i go to the gym with. One was 6ft and he'd only just turned 13, and my god he was a ****y mouthy son of a bitch. I would say he wont grow anymore, but the chances are he will, his dads 6'5". Then again my 6'7" uncles sons only got to 6'6", 6'4" and 5'9" (LOL i laugh at this one, funnily enough, this guy is the least vain one and is actually the nicest one)

Huge, this guy is HUGE, I made a new friend at college today, heres a new recruit from school, 16 years of age, and a funny guy. He has always wanted to go to the gym but never had anyone to go to-til he asked me whether i went, and hes coming with me. To try and point out how big this guy is, let me give you some stat estimation. I looked at his arms...dude...holy ****ing ****...His shirt is XXL which has a 21" arm diameter, his arms were nearly bursting out of it, he has a good 20 inch bicep, and hes never worked out before, his forearms are a good 16-17". He is 6'5" nearing 6'6" and is still growing, and he weighs in at a whopping 275lbs at 15% BF roughly. This guy is ****ing huge, he said he once benched 200lbs at a school gym for a muck around and found it easy, and that was a year or so ago, and hes gained around 60lbs since then-and its not all fat. He has a bit of a belly, but nothing much, 15% BF, 18% Max. I am getting him to the gym tommorow, and im getting him to do the 3 core exercises. My estimation maxxes are bench:350lbs deadlift:400lbs squat:400lbs And that is his first time doing it. He will definitely not go lower than 250lbs on any exercise maxxing, im dead sure about that. You need a picture to fully see this guys massiveness. Even funnier today in college is some guy said he was measured 6'5", and i looked down on him...And im only just 6'1" in shoes myself...so...wtf?! one weird tape measure his friend had LOL.

Big guys stats, these numbers ARENT a lie, they are entirely true, and i shall fight to the death if anyone disbelieves them. I got him measured and weighed up accordingly, his stats are 289lbs 6'5 1/2" biceps 21.5" chest 56" thighs 33" calves 17.5" wrists:8.5" Benchmax:70lbs Squat max: 110lbs deadlift max: N/A for now Bicep curl max:45lbs Like i said, this isnt a lie...I was in a serious state of shock. I now say this for definite...without hesitation. The next time any dumb **** 14 year old DB member comes along weighing in at 120lbs and says they bench 200lbs-**** off, youre basically lying, I have here a guy who has within average BF% (16.3%) and is ****ing huge, and he cant bench for ****, squat for ****, or curl for ****. I knew he wouldnt be lifting vast amounts of 2.5x bodyweight straight off, but considering he weighs nearly TWICE of me, i would have thought he could at least crank up a good 160-200lbs bench for reps, and possible a good 300lbs squat for reps. This guy is the 2nd largest guy in college, and worryingly, rather weak, i think weightlifting wise, im the strongest in my college, i keep taking people from college and theyre all damn ****ing puny. To be fair the bar on squat was hurting his shoulders, so he couldnt do more, his legs can though, he legpressed 500lbs for 5 reps so he has got strong legs, then again thats quite obvious given they carry round a 289lbs frame. Shame about benching. He didnt want to deadlift because hes worried about his back, it gives out a lot, mainly from the fact hes practically 6'6" My uncle has that problem too even today sometimes. I guess being that tall isnt brilliant sometimes lol. My workout now Tricep kickbacks 8x5x8x5x8 8 reps at 22lbs 5 reps at 24.4lbs getting stronger here. Close grip bench 5x5 between each T kickback sets 110lbs skull crushers 1x8@ 44lbs 1x5@ 48.4lbs 1x8@ 55lbs 1x5@ 60lbs 1x8@ 66lbs Arnold press 8x5x8x5x8 8 reps at 33lbs 5 reps at 37.4lbs Military press 8x5x8x5x8 8 reps at 90lbs 5 reps at 110lbs I stopped here, felt fatigued, still do even today actually.

god surprized about that big guy. anyway i have a friend of just under 6 foot 5 with the broaded shoulders youd ever imagine. but his body fat was at least 25 percent and he must of weighed a good 290 pounds maybe even more i expected him to be able to bench 300 pounds easy simply because of his weight anyway i racked 130 pounds for him expecting him to blast about 100 reps out. and to cut a long story short he failed lol he didnt even put it up once then he tried 100 pounds and managed it once!. then we did some biceps work and he couldnt even curl a 15kg dumbell. i guess some people are just weak lol. anyway them military press weights look good.

I have trouble curling 15kg dumbells...No idea why, i can barbell the equivalent of 15kg each arm, but not dumbell it, i can rep the 12's like mad though. My right bicep is now 13.5" My left is now 13.25" meaning ive gained a good 1.5" on both biceps, which im very happy about. I took a new approach to my workout today 1st of all-i did **** all chest exercises, my chest doesnt grow, so i **** it right out the window, screw it, im not wasting my time doing all that weightlifting for 1/2" in 4-5 months and a 5lbs strength increase...Its not worth it, Il need to workout for 10 years before im even "average" at that speed, and its pointless and stupid. 2nd of all-i did MEGA slow reps so my weight is seriously low, but it feels BRILLIANT. When i say mega slow, im talking about 10-15 seconds each rep. Barbell curls 8x5x8x5x8 8 reps at 45lbs 5 reps at 55lbs chinups (5-7 seconds raising without jump up) 3 sets of 4 reps (kills your biceps) Preacher curls 8x5x8x5x8 8 reps at 40lbs 5 reps at 50lbs Cable stretched curls (1 arm each time) 8x5x8x5x8 8 reps at 90lbs 5 reps at 110lbs Conc curls 8x5x8x5x8 8 reps at 22lbs 5 reps at 24.4lbs All with mega slow movements, and i can feel the difference, and see it too, my biceps at the forearm connecting bit were bulging like mad, and my veins were poking out loads...Im thinking of dropping ALL my weights in all my exercises and doing this. Ive estimated that my squats will be around 180lbs for 8 reps and 200lbs for 5 reps, deadlift will be 155lbs for 8 reps, and 176lbs for 5 reps, and bench can screw itself

From what i can see, ive lost BF%, let me just do some maths to kill time i was 155lbs 7% BF Im now apparently 164lbs 14% BF Lets see I WAS 10.85lbs fat, and 144lbs lean mass (roughly) I am apparently (after around 3 weeks to 1 month) 23lbs fat 141lbs lean mass Nah, no way. From looking at me, im definitely less fatter, my waist has gone to nearly 27.5" in the mornings which is just INSANE, and my ribs are poking out more than ever, im easily 6-7% still, not quite 5% Though. I think some of my weight is water weigh, 3-4lbs of it. Im a good 160lbs without water weight. Im back on creatine, the doc said the lumps dont feel alien, but if they get bigger to come back, theyre not really getting bigger so im doing creatine again.
