Week 6, Day 1 Monday 31st of July Weight:150lbs BF%:7% Nutrition:Standard(4600) Instead of completions like i used to do, im judt going to say what i did, so everything here listed i DID do. 1st Exercise:Standard bench 1x5@ 88lbs 3x5@ 99lbs 1x5@ 105lbs 1x3@ 110lbs Notes:My overall bench has increased, ive decided that because my chests endurance is a tad sloppy to say the least, is to pyramid it a bit, start off at 90lbs, then do the main one at 100lbs, then go to 105lbs, then max out as much as i can, my strength must have gained a bit because i struggled to partial rep 110lbs last time, which im glad of. 2nd exercise:Dumbell flies 1x5@ 26.4lbs each arm 5x5@ 33lbs each arm 2x5@ 37.4lbs each arm 1x3@ 44lbs each arm Notes: I was looking at the 20kg weights with envy, and decided to fly them, i struggled doing the 17's a few weeks back, but i thought **** it, wont get anywhere if you dont try, and while i only just managed to get the 20's out in 3 reps, i still was very happy. 3rd exercise:Standard bicep curls 1x10@ 22lbs each arm (piss easy) 1x5@ 26.4lbs each arm 5x5@ 33lbs each arm Notes: Ive gone back to my old routines for gaining strength in my arms, basically i cheat curl the last sets with the 33lbs each arm just a tiny bit, i know cheating doesnt use the arms as much, but my gyms arm weights go from 12kg (26.4lbs) to 15kg (33lbs) so i have no choice really, in theory i would probably benefit from a nice rounded 30lbs, and the cheating was slight, it definitely worked my arms though. 4th exercise:Lying down Bicep curls 1x10@ 15.4lbs 3x5@ 17.6lbs 2x5@ 19.8lbs (my god it felt gooood) Notes:I LOVE this exercise, so much in fact ive substituted it for my lovely preacher curls, this exercise just totally kills the arms, and my arms have gained strength, i had trouble cheat curling 33lbs standard bicepping last week, and now i only have to cheat a little to do 5 sets on it. and last week i did 5x5 of just the 17.6lbs. Hammer curls: 1x5@ 45lbs 5x5@ 65lbs 3x5@ 70lbs Notes:Love this exercise too, despite my forearms being tiny i am quite exceptional at this exercise as i havent been doing it for very long. But i lurve it. Cable curls 1x5@ 80lbs 3x5@ 100lbs 2x5@ 120lbs Notes:This exercise wont last long, the cable machine we have only goes up to 160lbs i think, and i can crank out some serious weight with this, i think its because the actual weight isnt in my arms, and its on a pully system. Its just amazingly easy for me, does anyone else find cable curls easier than the real thing? This is where my workout ended. Feeling pumped, but i might add one more exercise to chest next week. And this time i am going to do legs and friday this week. I did squat this day just to see what i should attempt, i only put on 100lbs and found it way too easy, so im gonna go up to 132lbs, maybe 145lbs and if i have gained amazing strength for some odd reason maybe more.

Week 6, Day 2 Tuesday 1st of August Weight:154lbs (WTF?!?! my 32" trousers [pants] are damn loose, and i know its not "accurate" but i grabbed all areas of main fat areas the male body has, and i cant feel anything extra, and i think id see a difference if i had 4lbs of fat sitting somewhere. My scales also are definitely not wrong. I did start cycling weight gainer however, but i doubt this is all muscle weight, i did drink a lot too, but im not moaning about this weight jump, as i look the same really, so im not worried about it being just fat) BF%:7% (I'll check it over again soon) Nutrition:Standard + weight gainer. Rest day

Hell yes. Cable curls make me feel like a beast. They are ridiculously easy in comparison to BB or DB curls. when 2 handed cables become too much of a joke, switch to one handeds, unless 160lb one handers are a joke too ;)

I went to sleep at 4pm today, as in tuesday, i woke up at 9pm, weighed myself at 152lbs, so theres 2lbs gone LOL, and now at midnight im still 152lbs, il see what i am in the morning, and it is my leg day, i have nothing to do and am riddled with insomnia (does weightgainer contain anything creatine does because it started once i took weight gainer and creatine did the same thing) Heres my plans for tommorow. Lets see if i end up doing them. 1st exercise:Deadlift warmup:1x10@ 110lbs 3x8@ 132lbs 5x5@ 176lbs- **** it, im in the mood to be strong, and am going to deadlift it, if i cannot however, then il go down to 155lbs 2nd exercise:Squat warmup:1x10@ 100lbs 3x8@ 121lbs 5x5@ 132lbs 3rd exercise:Dumbell row Warmup:1x10 @ 44lbs each arm 3x8@ 48.4lbs each arm 5x5@ 55lbs each arm 4th exercise:Leg press warmup:1x10@ 160lbs 3x8@ 200lbs 5x5@ 240lbs Then max the ****. I wanna do at least one on 300lbs. 5th exercise:shrugs warmup:1x10@ 45lbs (oo im gonna look twattish shrugging just the bar lol) 3x8@ 60lbs 5x5@ 80lbs 6th exercise:Weighted row warmup:1x10@ forgot weight increments on this machine but will be around the 100lbs mark, as i can dumbell row 50lbs each arm...so yeah LOL. I might add another exercise if i have enough energy left, I am going to also perform a theorem in this workout I shall call it such a original name Adrenaline assisted workout. I shall use the power of my mind to focus on something i REALLY loathe and get my blood boiling, i am also going to do something i dont usually do-make noise and grunt, i dont care, my gyms empty when i go, because i go when everyones working, so i shall grunt and scream to my hearts content. I am hoping this increases my lifts.

todays conditions: 8 15 am Not tired Dont feel week or fatigued Going to eat a breakfast filled with carbs and protein going to gym at 10 am so ive had enough wake up time for my body to get into things Ive got a good feeling about today Im adding lunges to the exercise list, usually i dont feel the burn, but last time i checked i only did it with 100lbs, so il up the weight. Im 151.5lbs this morning.

Week 6, Day 3 Wednesday 2nd of August. Weight:151.5lbs BF%:7% Nutrition:standard. 1st exercise:Deadlift warmup:1x10@ 110lbs 1x5@ 132lbs-too easy 1x5@ 176lbs 1x3@ 176lbs (Lost grip, need gloves, or to sweat less.) 2x5@ 176lbs 1x4@ 176lbs (Again lost grip, not strength, will definitely be getting gloves or using powder.) 2nd exercise:Squat warmup:1x10@ 100lbs 1x5@ 121lbs 3x5@ 132lbs 1x4@ 143lbs (I couldve maybe done the last rep but i didnt want to risk, it, my 2nd set of 132lbs i really did struggle to get back up, may i point out these werent my usual paralell squats like before, these were bump to ground pretty much squats, and **** they work your legs much more, il be doing these from now on. 3rd exercise:Dumbell row Warmup:1x10 @ 44lbs each arm 1x5@ 48.4lbs-too easy 5x5@ 55lbs each arm-still too easy, will be going up to 60+lbs next week 4th exercise:Leg press warmup:1x10@ 160lbs 2x5@ 200lbs (started running out of time here, and needed to pyramid it to still gain usefulness but saving time) 1x4@ 240lbs (This exercise got harder, i think its the squats that did it, usually i can max legpress a good 300lbs Didnt shrug, will move that to friday. Didnt weighted row, will do next week, time made a fool of me im afraid, this workout lasted a good 1hr 45 mins because i was teaching my g/f bro how to do heavy lifted squats and deads. His first attempts at the exercise at him being 5'8" at 135lbs was Deadlift 5x5@ 110lbs Squat 5x5@ 65lbs-75lbs (we altered it around every other set) I think thats quite good for his first attempts, and looking from his face-he could do better...He doesnt like struggling too much, but i got through 176lbs deadlifts through struggling, and my god im HAPPY. My strength on deads and squats have definitely increased for some strange reason, even though ive missed 2 weeks of it, oh well. BTW, operation adrenaline does work, after i had trouble on my 2nd set on the squats of 132lbs, i really psyched myself up-and found it easier, hence why i then added on another 5.5lbs each side. Deads i just did 1 set of 132lbs, and thought "holy crap this is too easy", so went for the 176lbs, and it worked! Im very pleased with myself right now and friday il be doing everything at home before i go out with my g/f for a special day out

HAHA! right now my lower back is dead, in a non bone ****ed way, just a muscle way, it feels goooood. Even weirder is i struggled the deads, but not to a point of bad form, i kept my form good, i didnt try maxxing again, not interested in maxxes much anymore, especially deadlifting, but id still say my max deadlift is 230lbs, maybe 250lbs if i pushed with bad form. Im catching up with you sheep! Just need to add 20lbs to my training squats and im right you where are. And il be adding 10-15lbs next week regardless of the screaming my legs give me. I have also formed another routine for when i start week 9, basically i do my 5x5's and then i keep the weight the same, and keep doing it, over and over, stop, start again, until i literally cannot do one more rep with that weight, i wanna work til fatigue sets in at major levels, i have a feeling my body will grow best through that.

Heh, I will do 175 or 185 tonight for squats, depending how I feel :P I am switching it to a 3 day split, Quads/Shoulders/Forearms, Back/Triceps/Calves, Chest/Hams/Bis. Its 24 sets per workout. 4-6 rep range. Hoping to boost those compound lifts!

hmmm, 24 sounds like a good number, in general i average at 30 sets (20 today but it was cut short), especially on mondays, good luck to you man, hope you do squat that. I just cant wait til i am training on 200+lbs for my deads and squats, bench can go screw itself i will never EVER be able to train 200lbs bench, actually, i doubt il ever max 200lbs, maybe one day, when im 450lbs, through steroids, i might hit 199.9lbs, just about. LOL. I shall one day be level with you in squats though! lol...hopefully

For sure, and when we can both finally put 2 plates on each side of the bar for bench... we will feel like monsters. I want atleast 2 plates on squats, because it should be so simple, even 3 shouldn't be so much of a problem

haha 2 plates for bench will never happen for me. thats 220lbs, which is double what i can do now. I can only do .7 of my weight, meaning when i get to my lean solid 220lbs i will be MAX benching around 170lbs. Deadlifting will be the first exercise i start two plates on, im going to go up to 198lbs next week if i can, otherwise il go to 187lbs, either way, im adding 10lbs minimum each week. I could be repping 220lbs for deadlift in 2-3 weeks if i really got things together, i mean, these are newb gains afterall so im gonna take full damn advantage of it. Back about 9 months ago when i started deadlifting i was maxxing like 145lbs lol, come back and do it for a few weeks and already train in it at 176lbs woooo! squat i could get to repping 220lbs within 6-8 weeks if i tried hard too, once i hit the 200 mark for repping i'll be happy, hate writing down the 1 as my first number all the damn time...or sometimes less lol. By the end of the year(as in next years summer lol) when i am 220lbs (and i shall bloody well be! its only 1.3lbs each week, which i can usually do, and if i build some fat up, il cardio my arse to death for a whole month, and leave the rest to my good ol' metabolism ) i wanna be repping a good 300lbs on deadlift at least, and 300lbs maybe for squat, and repping 132lbs for bench.

Rest day, booster bicep training at home, just simple curls, my arms just never get tired, and im bored, and it is thanks to training my arms 3 times a week i got to mt 15"ers so im going back to my old ways, because so far they have both grown 0"

Week 6, Day 5 Friday 4th of August Weight:I would love to say 153lbs, but its 152.5lbs on the dot. BF%:7% Nutrition:Standard+supps Tricep and shoulder day, basically i have skipped this day so many times im lagging behind, and these muscles are very important, i did this workout at home, and basically look back at my previous post towards the weights and exercises i did-its pretty much the same apart from 2 machine assisted workouts which i do not have at home. I have a tricep exercise i kinda self invented that feels bloody awesome and i reckon itl build my triceps up like mad hopefully. I really cannot wait til next wednesday, i wanna up my dead and squat lifts.

Week 7, Day 1 Monday 7th of August Weight:152lbs BF%:7% Nutrition:standard no supps. 1st exercise:Bench standard 3x5@ 90lbs 2x5@ 80lbs Notes:My bench strength has decreased, big surprise huh? 2nd exercise:Dumbell flyes 1x5@ 33lbs 5x5@ 37.4lbs 2x5@ 44lbs (each arm) Notes:My strength has gained here, could only do 1x3 on 44lbs last time. 3rd exercise:Concentration curls 5x5@ 22lbs Notes:Cool exercise, killed my arms good 4th exercise:Standard curls 5x5@ 33lbs each arm Notes:Bit of strength gained here too 5th exercise:Lying down dumbel curls. 5x5@ 17.6lbs Notes:My arms died lol I would have done hammer curls but my biceps died and thought better of it. Oh also i brought deadlifting gloves today, my weight set only goes up to 50kg which is 110lbs, which is warmup for me, in fact actually, around 132lbs is warm up for me now. I did it with amazing ease, the gloves make a big difference, im very confident in hitting 198lbs for 5x5 this wednesday.

That's the only problem-im not sure, as ive only tested them out on 110lbs which isnt that heavy even for my skinny arse body lol. But it did feel easier than my usual warmups, but im not sure if thats just from strength. Either way the only problems i had with doing 176lbs last week was grip, i reckon i couldve added a few of them ickly tiny plates and got up to 187lbs if i wanted to...just about. Either way im attempting 198lbs tommorow, and nothing shall stop me! I'm also gonna be squatting 154lbs for 5x5 tommorow, again, nothing shall stop me! I need to get my training weights to 200lbs for these 2 exercises

No ones seen my 7lbs weightgain though, in fact when i tell people how much i weigh they say im lying and that i look more along the 110-120lbs range Im also contending with people who will say il never get bigger no matter what i eat because i need to wait til im older before its possible to add muscle. Also i just know that when i do end up big everyone will say i used steroids probably, which would piss me off.
