I found an old copy of Men's Health yesterday, it said the secred of 6-pack abs is.....

Low body fat

DUH!Smile

And the secret of getting low body fat? Proper diet, exercise, and patience.Smile

It also said that most men will have visible abs at 7-10% bodyfat, and that most men are at 15-20%, so they need to drop half of what they have.

Jump rope is good for endurance... Still gotta do runnin though, unless you wanna jump rope for 30min which is FOREVER when you are just jumping rope, 1 min seems like forever. Heavy bag is great, also if you can get your hands on a double end bag, those are pretty fun.

In response to 8pack:

I've been doing lots of "weighted" crunches for the last month and a half and my abs have shown awesome growth but the bottom two muscles aren't showing that good, but I started leg raises so that should help. :|

For other people, one of my favourite ab exercises is doing sit-ups on the decline bench holding two 10 or 12.5 lb dumbells in each hand, close to my shoulders. not sure if this is one of those "official" exercises, but it works quite well. improvisation is key :D
