There is some vegetable that has more proteing than chicken. It's the root of something, but I can't think of it right now. There is nothing we can get from meat that you can't get from a vegetable or supplement. I worked at supway and there was a vegetarian that cam in almost everyday that worked out regularly. He wasn't huge but he was definetly bigger and more cut than the average lifter.

17 inch arms arent big?
wtf?
The average male arms are about 12-13 inches isnt it? talking about muscle tissue wise, disregarding fat.
17 inch arms are 4-5 inches bigger than that
thats like saying someone who is 6'3"-6'4" (4-5 inches taller than average human male) isnt that tall.
17 inch arms are pretty ****ing big man, i dont know many people with 17" guns, half the guys in the gym i used to go to dont even hjave 17" and theyre real big some of them.

Textured soy protein can be used as a substitute for ground beef. I see it used very often in vegetarian chili -tho I'm not a huge fan of it. It picks up the flavor of whatever you cook with it, like tofu, so it's not a flavor issue. I guess, for me, I didn't go vegetarian so I could find things that taste and feel like meat, LOL 
The other common meat replacement you see a lot of is called saitan. Basically it's concentrated wheat gluten that can (if prepared properly) have the same texture as flank steak or beef Stroganoff (cue the Beavis & Butthead impression)... Personally, I think it's nasty, and it has approximately the same mouth feel and palatability as rubber bands - or Calamari, for that matter

mine are a punny 14 .2 but im 6ft 3 so there is more frame to streatch over and well only been lifting about 9 weeks now will get bigger
