Regardless of the benefits of steriods, the mind numbing speed at which they work, NOTHING and I mean NOTHING is worth the benefit if it comes at the cost of your body. I mean, if you have to take liver protectants and do a PCT, then c'mon. You obviously shouldn't be taking it, the ****'s toxic. You could acquire the same results from proper diet, proper lifting, and proper sleep with the occasional HEALTHY, SAFE, and LEGAL supplements. No need to risk your life over it.

obviously i don't have to think about it. but wouldn't you guys just be prouder of yourselves to know that you can reach your goals completely on your own? i think to a girl a guy taking steriods comes off as a lack of confidence = not too sexy.

do u think that the reason half of the IFBB pros are joining muscletech is that MT provides them with steroids?

Go read some stories of 'roid users who regret what they did to themselves later in life. Pretty cynical comment.

Go read some stories of 'roid users who regret what they did to themselves later in life. Agreed. I don't think anyone's b**ching about it, per se. It's more like, I'd rather see some aspect of the sport retain a claim to natural accomplishment. Frankly, that "everyone's doing it" attitude seldom produces disireable long-term results in any endeavor -least of all, cheating. I just read an article in the Washington Post this morning about how amateur brawl videos are proliferating on the Internet. Yeah, there's a great thing to do -let's all grab our cell phone cameras and go out picking fights to prove how tough we are. Why not? EVERYONE'S DOING IT! Who cares if it's a felony? Who cares about the risks? Let's ALL be jackasses and thumb our noses at everyone who thinks total freaking anarchy might just be a bad thing... People on this board do not, as the original respondent of this thread stated, badmouth steroids solely because they are illegal and nobody here knows anything abou them. CPL and Old Navy provided ample proof to discredit that insult. The fact is, people here badmouth steroids because they are smart enough to know better, or at least recognise what an absolute, uncivilized flame-fest free-for-all every other bodybuilding site on the net turns into when they embrace the topic. To answer the original question, and repeat what BlackWMW and Jared6553 already said, YES. Steroids work -but at an enormous cost. For every success story of someone juicing with no serious side effects, there are ten stories of dudes getting throw in jail, catching HIV from careless needle use, blowing out their HPTA, shrinking their nuts, dropping dead of heart attacks, or freaking out and committing violent crimes against others because they have the emotional maturity of an infant. Like CPL said, there are other things in life that should be every bit as important to you as getting big. Personally, I think anyone who feels they HAVE to take the juice route implicitly confesses (through their actions) that they haven't the willpower, the personal integrity, or the physical ability to accomplish what they want on their own. I need no further proof of how screwed up someone's priorities are than their willingness to risk their lives just to be more muscular. I want it too. Believe me. But I haven't taken the same path as the juicers out there, because I like to think I've just got more self-control than they ever will. Take the high road, people. It's only sanctimony to the weak.

Excellent post, veg- More interesting points on the issue. I don't know- I'm the type of person who's against stuff like unneccessary plastic surgery too- It just speaks volumes about insecurity if you ask me. I also look at it like this- Say you had the chance to get a kick ass, well paying job. How far would you go for it? Would you just apply? Would you do everything you could to present yourself and your skills to their fullest potential, give it your all? Would you step on your friends' necks, push your mom down a flight of stairs? I'm not saying roids are the equivalent of choice number three- To me, they're actually closer to choice number one, but- When something can potentially ruin other parts of your life, it's definitely time to take a long, hard look at yourself.

Now i know you guys are gonna flame me because im going to be the only person on this thread who is pro steroids. Ive done about 8 cycles in the past 10 years. When i started I was a senior in highschool who weighed 135 at 5'8. After that cycle I was 185 give or take a lb. Now im 240 and Bulking up to 260 before cutting down to around 220 next year. I get my blood levels checked every few months and im always good on everything. I hate hearing guys who want to talk about the negatives of steroids when they know absolutely nothing about them except from what theyve seen on 60 minutes. I have never had roid rage and im pretty high strung when im not on cycle. Muscle in a bottle? I work my ass off harder then anyone it is not muscle in a bottle its just an extra boost for someone who has no urge to compete at 175lbs which is where i would be at my height. I heard someone mention Gregg valentino. Greggs a great guy I know him personally. His probs came from being careless and young and it would of happened with him whether it was steroids or boosting cars thats just how the cards are dealt sometimes. Now im not advising ppl to just go out and get on the juice. Research then research again and when u think u know it all research some more then make ur own choices. You want to go that path do it if you want to stay clean thats great im not gonna bash you the way some of you guys are bashing steroids. Now for anyone who wants info on the subject im here to help. let me make this clear tho info only I am not a source and i will not hook you up.

If you could gain 50lbs every cycle we would have 600lb bodybuilders with 3% bf it doesnt work that way bro. Intravenously? You dont do gear IV bro youd kill yourself. My current cycle is 750mg test e and 600mg deca with 50mg dbol ed. Since you really want details I shoot 1.5ml test and 1ml deca on mondays and thursday. The body part depends on what im training that day. Once again I hear health risks. Ive never seen a true scientific study that says steroids were the main cause of someones death. Ive seen speculation and hear say. Take the high school baseball player who commited suicide it was all over the news steroids led to his depression and suicide this kid ran 1 cycle 2 years before killing himself. Wheres the link? They didnt put it out there in such bold letters that the guy had been on meds for depression since he was 12 years old

Did you start out taking 500mg of Test E and then up it to 750mg? Did you develop breasts (gynocomastia) from taking D-BOL (aromatization, as it converts to estrogen in the body)?... Did you start balding?... Did you go impotent?... Did you receive testicular shrinkage?... Did you receive any other side effects??? It's not all about death... It's about overall health (Problems with the liver, kidneys, heart etc. etc.)!... Check it out: http://www.steroid.com/side.php (Main side effects [14] discussed!) Thanks for commenting in advance!
