Xceed

Xceed - Lemon Blast - Designer Supplements

I have been waiting to try some more DS supplements since i tried Activate and Melting Point which are excellent supplements.

So i stopped by my local Vitamin Shoppe and picked up a tub of Xceed.  I have been looking for DS supps in VS for a while now, but either i completely missed their line or they were sold out.  For my ego, i will default to them being sold out.....Smile.

There were a few things that i noticed right off about Xceed before i even tried it.

1.) The container is really small compared to the other preworkout supplements. (NO-X, SuperCharge, superpump250...etc)
2.) 45 servings in this little container? The scoop must be small.....which it is.
3.) There are only a few ingrediants.  (other supps seem to have a long list)
4.) No caffeine

So far they are going against the grain with a smaller container and less product per scoop.  Which i feel is the right way to go and i hope this works for them in a marketing stand point.  In the US, it always seems that bigger is always better. So im ready to begin now that my initial shock to the "norm" is over.  Time to get the product.

Today is day one, and i do feel something different about myself after 20 minutes or so after my first dose.  I hit my legs somewhat easy today as i find myself beginning again after a long layoff.  I seem to get into a great workout schedule then for some reason i stop.  So here i go again.  I will revisit this review and conclude it when i reach the end of the tub.  Stay tuned.....

Today is a day off.

I worked my chest and shoulders on monday, then legs yesterday.  I am sore from both.

I have to postpone this review as i've had a minor accident today.  I slipped in my kitchen and landed awkardly on my wrist and leg.  I have some tissue damage in my thumb and a good bone bruise on my leg.  I should be back within a few days.

Once 30 minutes prior to workout and once 6 hours later.

Off days, like today, i just took a serving first thing in the morning.

How did you like the taste?  Trust me, Xceed has at least 45 servings in the container.  Some containers have a little extra.  I'll be tuning in to your log. Smile

Day 3 (injury day 1)

Today was suppost to be back but with my left thumb immobilized, i wont be able to workout.  I still will be taking Xceed first thing in the morning.  Lets see how well the recovery will be with Xceed with my sore muscles from my fall.

Today i noticed something that i didnt with the other times i have taken it.  The powder is easily mixed in water.  With all the other preworkout supps that i have tried, there has always been some product left over that didnt dissolve.  99% of Xceed dissolves instantly.

yea i just pour the water in and it dissolves

so far i've taken it 7 times and can say i really like it.

also i noticed today it was 80 degree out and i left the powder in the shaker and then went out to get it after school it turned in to a liquid interesting to say the least.
even when i did pour the water it was still good though

finally will the powder go bad if its not left in a cool dry place

Great review so far Misanthropy.

Its funny, you bring up some points that are irrelevant from e-tailers, but stick out once we got on the shelves of VS.

* Our bottles don't stick out
* Our bottles are really small

And we have more servings that most competitive bottles.  Unfortunately, many purchase on bottle size ("wow, that one is twice as big and only a few dollars more!").  We may increase bottle size at some point, we shall see.

As to the ingredients -- it was intentionally kept limited.  It is deigned to be effective, and cost-efficient, as well as good tasting.  It is not designed to be fancy-schmancy.  It works.  And that was the plan.

Keep up the great review and noticing the details, I love it.

Some? I've yet to read a report from anyone who hasn't squeezed 52-55 servings out of their tub.

Its been a week since my mini accident.  I am ready to resume again tomorrow. Finally, ready to begin again.

During my time off i took Xceed first thing in the morning and again 6 hours later.  Over the weekend i increased it to 3 servings. By 9pm i could feel most of my arteries working. I was very relaxed and conscious. I slept really well on those nights. However, 3 is pushing it and was done for the sake of this review.

It seems when i get hurt all of my other injuries that havent completely recovered like to flare up as well.  This along with 3 small girls to help care for, im getting some great cardio workouts and sore muscles.  Piled onto this is a 55+ hr work week and im ready to begin lifting again tomorrow?  I cant wait.

Ill post a nice picture of my fist size bruise on my shoulder soon.

TP: You dont stick out well at VS.  It was difficult to find the products, however once i saw the first, the others werent too hard to find.  On a good note, Xceed works great. I have yet to be dissapointed with DS products.

Okay!!!  My bad. Smile  Well then why not go ahead and put 50 servings per container on the bottle?  It would certainly look a little more attractive.

I got in a back workout today. The name of it would probably have been "warmup workout" but i did something.  I know ill be a bit sore as i am starting up yet again.

I did notice a greater mind/body connection with my muscles being worked during the workout.  I felt i had more control/influence of which muscles to relax and which ones to contract.

Ive been meaning to come back and add some updates but life has been keeping me busy.

Workouts have been great (when i can get to them).  Strength wise i still feel weak from my long layoffs, however i do feel like i am getting stronger and the normal daily aches and pains are starting to get better.  Xceed is my new favorite.  I still cant see the bottom of the tub.   I would probably be on bottle 2 of "X brand" by now.

A minor detail with Xceed is that the product tends to get clumpy in the container over time. This is minor as quick shake to the tub will fix this issue.

Im beyond satisfied with Xceed as the price is low and it lasts a long time and is effective.

I have been taking the ActivaTe on schedule. I am on day 5 of this supplement.  I remember from the beta the supplement starts to kick in around day 7-10.  So im looking forward to this.
