hrmm well im 4 inches taller than my dad already so i dont think my growth got stunted that badly... but yeah i started at around late 12...
I know a guy who is 8-9 inches taller than there dad and 12-13 inches taller than there mum.
Quite hysterical actually...and strange...lol
Guess he got some recessive gene from years ago in his family
Weightlifting wont stunt growth unless you injure yourself badly from doing it.
95% of growth is from DNA makeup, not exercise and nutrition, though that might help you with a 1/4" here and there.
Keep on lifting, just make sure to not injure yourself
yeah but it doesnt mean that your growth wasnt stunted...because you maybe could have been a couple inches taller if you had not started lifting that early
strange paradox, the human "what if" which can only truly be proved by going back in time and doing things differently, true the guy might have got to 6'3-6'4...but i doubt it...DNA makes most of our growth, and in any case children play around loads, when you run you put your bodyweight down onto your legs many times, leg bones and muscle are meant to deal with them beatings, so weightlifting with legs will do jack ****, and arms etc...well strength is determined by muscle, and in general people who start weightlifting unless gifted can only lift there bodyweight in most exercises excluding legs, so they cant damage themself, and by the time they can lift more, there muscles are bigger and can enforce the bone more, bone is softer the younger the person, but after age 15 you pretty much have adult bones in most respects, others might be late growing and have to wait til later ages.
Ive grown 2 inches since i started lifting, and at a strange age of 18.
