I've been taking a course called weight training at school. I can squat a lot more then I started and dead lift and cleans but my bench press are still low why is my bench press still low? 130 pounds about 5'6 i can bench press about only 110?

the bench press is the bane of my existance.  my other lifts are somewhat respectable, but my bench remains a measly 225.  for strength, make sure you are doing sets in the 4-6 range.  don't be so concerned about it.  when is the last time you heard a girl say "i would date you, but you can only bench 110.  no way".  it's overrated, in my opinion.

yeah, kids are dicks and you might get made fun of, but remember that they were once in your shoes also.  everyone has to start somewhere, and you can only go up.  make sure you are getting enough protein, at least 130 grams a day.

everyday? thats WAY too much.  if you put the right intensity into a workout once a week is enough.

i'm on a routine right now where i do a day of lifting, day off, day of lifting, day off etc.  i work each body part once every 8 days and i'm seeing the best gains i've ever seen.

I work out with the football team sometimes after school when they lift. Most of them weigh around 250 lbs(some are solid muscle and that big). I learned to suck it up and I've leanred a lot from them. for instance one guy on the day they maxed out I went. He immediately addded 20 lbs to my max from 20 minutes before by  helping me with form. also i only weigh 150

In nine weeks, you had a sixty pound gain in your bench press.
A ninety pound gain in your squats.
A fifty pound gain in your deadlifts.
A twenty pound gain in your Cleans.
Excellent work. You can definitely expect gains like that when you're first starting out- In order to keep growing, and see more strength increases, you need to start worrying about how and what you eat to support the muscle growth. You're not done growing, not by a long shot- But without enough food, you won't be giving your body what it needs to grow. So how about posting something about how and what you eat? I'm sure we can help out.

I say that even though it is pointless for uto have a HUGE bench unless ur sport needs it or w/e, it is an ego thing. A girl may not ask u that, but a guy will. Thats when u want to sound tough, in front of a guy.

my bench press is low, thats what i need to work at. And for my diet I don't have a strict diet at all I try to eat healthy but a barely do i just dont eat out to fast food a lot. Normal day: Eat a egg sausuge sandwich(Not from Mcdonald made it myself) With Milk, lunch is Nachos or pizza and dinner is random.
I eat eggs a lot too.

I dunno man. 155? That's pretty nice. Only me and these other two kids my age can do that.

Someone always has to write on the walls "Mike was here". But then someone else puts an arrow and it says "Mike is a ****got". So Mike comes back to check it out, "What the hell?! I was here but not as a ****got!"
