Muscles89...I am sure I just heard you shake your head and blow that answer off...but its true..those sups are really not anything special.  They are just well marketed.

JohnyB
You can go to that link and create a meal plan.  That would give you control!

But you need to pick an over riding goal.
quote:

I want to loose body fat whilst building muscle.

Lets assume it is to build muscle.

Then you need to use the meal plan to create enough food so you are GAINING weight regularly.  .5 - 2 pounds a week.

You need to eat more.  But use the "rules" in the lose fat tread....

Next, you need to vary that training on a weekly or bi-weekly basis...meaning change it up so that your muscles are surprised frequently!

Any questions...post em here!

I hope you understand, I was not trying to be discouraging.  I want people to get results, not waste money and get dissappointed.

I don't know your training history, for all I know you could be in a perfect place to benefit optimally from these supplements!  However, I have to also state the obvious issues...which you might already know...before we can begin to discuss how to get the most from such things!

quote:

nah, i see what your saying dan but since i already have them i am going to use them and am (for lack of a better word) recording the progress in another forum.

I did want to point out the potential for some contradictions in the actions, and health matters that might suggest against thier use, if you have those health issues.  You know best about that.

Is there some validity to their use?...While not all the ingredients have a valid relationship to your goal many do have some releationship.
Branched Chain amino acids (including L-Leucine) are muscle sparing and worth taking pre workout for that reason.
L-Arganine is a NO stimulant and antioxidant and also well worth taking pre-workout.

As for the Thermogain...IF you are in good health, IF you are not accustomed to taking caffeine, and If your diet and training are in top shape for your goal...it could potentially give you a slight edge in the area of fat loss.

If you want me to check over your diet do ahead and post it here or check it yourself agianst what is best for fat loss and muscle gain...

Lastly...Muscles89...I would be happy if you would start a Journal on this forum with your diet and workouts as well as your supplements..we would all love to read how things are going for you!

quote:

and to lose fat: cardio

A common misconception...that cardio is the way to lose fat.

While it can help, there are a other things that must be in place or the cardio will just burn muscle and cripple your fat burning machinery.

There is an Online Training Journal Forum where everyone keeps an ongoing record of their progress.

At the top are the basic guidelines...but those are standard...The more detail you give on your specific goals and starting stats...the better it gets!

Smile

Just start your own...

OH!  Welcome to DB!
