IF you are training and eating right for you, then you can stay fairly lean as you gain muscle. If you follow all that I posted, you can insure it. Look at my numbers..am I gaining weight? Yes. Am I gaining fat? No. Am I losing fat? Yes. Like I said bring your calories up gradually and observe the changes. Also, my meal plan may not be optimal for you! You might be a high carb type or vary in some way. Follow the steps in the post...it can help you determin what is best for you. Fat comes from consuming more calories than the body can use for other purposes. So if you eat and train right...everything is getting used. I just guided a wrestler in gaining 9 lean pounds in just over a month...he was losing bodyfat and gaining muscle eating 7000 calories.

Need pre cardio/workout nutrition What is the caloric load of that school day... Do you eat egg? What foods do you like? Dairy... Meats... Grains... Fruits... Legumes... Other Proteins... Nuts... Breakfast needs more protein in fact I would say you need more dietary protein over all...and more carbs. If you want to gain. Look, 15 poundes = 53,000 calories more than you burn over whatever period you want to gain it! You are in a deficit of 1500 calories a day which = -45,000 calories a month. Do you see what needs to be done? If you only want 15 pounds you can plan for 1/2-1 pound a week and have it before August...and if you gain some fat you don't want you can lose it. You can gain .5 up to 2 pounds a week of muscle. You decide how much and then you plan a diet adn training that gets you the calories to fulfill this. You track your progress as I discussed and make adjustments weekly.
