Hello everybody. I'm new to this site so bear with me. I'm 49 yrs old. I just recently (in the last 2 months) started weight training again after being out of the gym for a number of years. My goal is simple enough but I need suggestions please .. Lose body fat, tone and sculpt. My current weight is 146 and my problem area is my abdominals .. I'm also seeing a small amount of cellulite on my thighs (yuck!). My training consists of working out the muscle groups (back/bi's .. chest/triceps, etc). I start my workouts with light cardio (warm up) and 20 min cardio at the end of the workout. I've been considering a lite anabolic (anavar) but again, I need suggestions. Training schedule, diet suggestions .. anything would be wonderful.

Actually, I'm not going to mess w/ the diet too much before contest. Cut back on water...yes. I've read too much on "peaking" and "spilling over" that I'm not going to mess w/ potassium, salt and carbs. I'm just going to be observant of my body and how it reacts to carbs and water. That way, I can plan what to eat/drink and there will be no surprises. I will taper my water down the day before and the day of comp. Salt, I will go lower sodium but nothing drastic. Starting to form my own opinions and after my competition, I'll see what works and what doesn't. Good learning tool! Good luck w/ your upcoming competition! ...and thanks for your help and pointers to different sites!
