Thanks Leslie! I am planning to post before and after pictures but that will come later...maybe in 2 more months. I will keep you posted on progress so that I can see whether I am on track or not. I will also get body fat tested again.

Yes, Circuit Training. I have a lot of fat to burn and I am seeing very good results so far. I am basically staying in my target heart rate (between 140 and 160) for an hour. I know that everyone has different goals so I am trying to do what is right for me.

This is what I do:

Circuit 1 (in any oder, 12 to 15 reps) (10 mins)
3 leg machines
1 chest machine
Lat Pull Downs
Shoulder Flys
Arm curls
Tricep pull downs (with rope)

In between Circuit 1 and 2

2 mins of cardio to keep heart rate up

Circuit 2 (in any oder, 12 to 15 reps) (10 mins)
3 leg machines
1 chest machine
Lat Pull Downs
Shoulder Flys
Arm curls
Tricep pull downs (with rope)

End with 30 to 40 mins of cardio:
Eliptical or Stairmaster

My goal is not to get huge and not to body build. I really need to lose the excess fat I have and lean up. I really think this will help me achieve my goals. I love the workout and it keeps me entertained.

I have been out of the post loop for a while but wanted to give you an update on my progress. I finally crossed the 180 markSmile

Current Weight: 178.5 (down from 185)
Height: 5' 8.5"
My Goal: Lose 20 lbs, gain muscle, and tone
Date of Goal: 12/31/2003
