Just wanted to give you an update! Just wrapping up Week #3 and have lost 3 pounds Smile !! Here is some updated info:

Current Weight: 183 (down from 185)
Height: 5' 8.5"
My Goal: Lose 20 lbs, gain muscle, and tone
Date of Goal: 12/31/2003

I am averaging 2000 caleries per day still and feeling so much better!! I just have to keep it up.

Thanks to all for the help, especially about eating! I have to a better job at loging my eating journal but I am eating the same things each week so it should not vary that much.

A pound a week is perfect! After about 6 weeks or so you may stall and need a tweak. Keep us posted:)

Will do! What is Leptigen btw? Also, when you stall, how do you determine what needs to be tweaked (diet or excersise) or is it trial and error?

There are many things that can be tweaked.

Leptigen is a supplement revolution.

At least post a link to AvantLabs or IM where you did a sweet write-up of the product. Smile

Or copy it and post it in it' own thread or here..

I' m sure it' s going to be talked about soon and I' d like to point people somewhere (here or there) where they can get more info.

Prefer here.. but info is info.

Just got my body fat tested at the Gym so here it is:

Body Fat: 17.1%

I will take it again in a few months to see what it is. I was 6% in high school (but I was also a gymnast training for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week). Hopefully my body will remember what it was like Smile

I was tested using digital calipers in 4 spots. I can' t remeber all spots so here are the ones I remember: my hip (where the love handles are), upper arm, and back.

Supra-iliac, arm and scapula.

I hate to tell you this, but those are the sites for testing women.

The Jackson Pollock 3 point for men is the stomach, chest, and quad.

Also the digitals, from what I hear are not as accurate as the hand pressure, which also aren' t very accurate.

Damn it... I was tested there as well. I' m thinking that the testing you get in the gym is the same as the personal training I' ve gotten there to. Kmart Blue Light Special.

I' m going to have a find a more " professional" method of testing that as well.

Suggestions on general places to go for quality testing? Or maybe suggestions on home methods that are kinda accurate?

Thanks for the info! I will get myself retested and see how it goes. I meet with a personal trainer for the first time on Tuesday so I will see how it differs...could be a good test Smile

I just use calipers at home. It may not be the most accurate, but since I am always doing it, at least I can control consistency.
