Does anyone have any information (research or anecdotal) on Advocare products? I've noticed a lot of them are based on something called "Moomiyo" (sp?) which they say came from Russia and refer to it as "Black Gold"... I do find it ironic that their bodybuilding line of supplements is called Performance Optimization System or.............. POS

From Advocare's website: AdvoCare offers world-class nutritional supplements and skincare products to the American marketplace through the free-enterprise model of direct selling. Because the AdvoCare products are safe and effective, individuals have the opportunity to earn income by sharing the products with people in their spheres of influence. In the spirit of American entrepreneurship, AdvoCare offers a proven business vehicle for people who want to pursue a brighter financial future by building a business of their own. "We are proud to be leading AdvoCare into a new era of growth and success all across America," say Todd and Donna Cash, the President and Chief Executive Officer and Executive Vice President of AdvoCare. "Our commitment to producing the best nutritional products and the best leaders in the country is unparalleled. The products are for everyone, and if you need a financial opportunity, you can build a business that leads to debt-freedom, a life on your terms or the realization of your dreams." This sounds frightenly similar to Herbalife. I got sucked into that big time when I first started my "lifestyle" change 10 months ago. I'm not saying don't try their products, just don't get caught up in the hype and start thinking you can earn money selling this stuff. Most of the time this stuff is over-priced with sub-par ingredients. You'd be better off using GNC brand stuff before using MLM company supplements IMHO.

Heck.. The products are for everyone, and if you need a financial opportunity, you can build a business that leads to debt-freedom, a life on your terms or the realization of your dreams." Become a Supplements101 affiliate, and support the forum. Same thing only for a good cause. I'm going with Slayerboy. A long time ago.. I joined Rexall Sundown.. same kind of deal. Nothing special about their products but it seemed to me, the whole business thing was pushed more then the supplement line. And really, if you wanted to make money you needed people below you. Back to your question.. if you look at the price of a protein supplement there and then something Supplements101 carries and compare ingredients.. that's all the matters. I don't think they discovered the secret.. and "black gold" is a marketing term. Be wary. If you do it.. research, keep an open mind and don't fall victim to hype.
