Biceps. . .

Ok friday I did 4 sets of conc. curls and 3 sets ez curl bar, 8-10 reps. I walked out and my arms were dead hard to start my car, fingers werent working right type of tired. When I get tired like that anywhere else, I always get sore. I know you dont have to be sore to have a good work out but I always do for every other muscle group but these. what should I do?

There could be a couple of reasons: Many people have certain muscle groups that dont get sore no matter what Your biceps arent developed enough to feel the soreness You need a change on your bicep routine You really dont have to be sore, you shouldnt worry about it as long as your seeing results, are you seeing results btw?

I agree with 8pack you dont necisarilly need to feel sore. Some muscle groups recover faster than others. If you arent seeing results with this then yes change up your routine. I would suggest Hammer curls, these are a great mass building excersise it works the full range of motion of this muscle.

Yeah results are comming so I guess there isnt ne thing to worry about, I'm just not satisfied because I feel like I could do it again the next day.

I almost never feel soreness in my biceps after bicep day. I do however feel soreness in them right after back day (from deadlifting). It's kind of strange but it does the job.

I have a crazy thought on the biceps in particular that has no evidence or research to back it, but I'll throw it out there anyway. It seems when you begin working out, biceps are the first to make noticeable improvements before all else (in size and strength). It also seems they like to explode to a certain size depending on a lot of different things, and then settle down. My biceps went crazy when I started working out, started curling 20's and in just a few few months maxed out at 45's. That was 2 years ago. Now I've trained smarter and more intensely, eaten much better, and switched up the routines with all sorts of changes. Two years later my bicep curl is about 50lb dumbbells. They just seem more prone to plateauing than any other body part.

I think when most people start out they focus alot on there biceps more than others. When i started out my biceps and triceps seemed to start out the fastest.
