hGH - Tuesday, February 03, 2004 7:06 PM ( #1 )
I was only able to catch the end of a show on Discovery, but they were talking about hGH and how there is no proven facts that hGH actually helps the human body, only that it can damage the heart.

I wish I could have seen the whole thing. Might be somthing to consider before you go out and buy some

I can't. I'm a pimp. And honest pimp but still.. You posted on hGh and I was trying to pimp you off to HMB.. totally unrelated. Jez....

Did you buy BFFM yet? If not, I may have to ban you. Nothing personal.

And your logo is awesome. I meant to comment a lot earlier. Very cool...

At $39 or whatever it is.. it's a bargain. No really.. honestly.. I mean.. there's no b.s. in there and it's one of the few e-books honestly that I printed and have kept. Plus you'll have all kinds of stuff to quote from. Everybody at DB will be like.. damn.. that dude is smart. But they don't know that you are reading BFFM and knowing your stuff.

BFFM

$4.29 is too little to pay for this.. besides.. in your upcoming boxing matches you can psych the guy out with talk of protein, ratios and colestrol...

Or you will become a preacher like me.. and people will put ya on their ignore lists..

Uh, guys, he's asking about hGH, not HMB...

Human Growth Hormone... where to start...

I suspect the program you saw was suffering from the same anti-whatever propoganda that says that steroids don't actually DO anything. hGH is offically given to kids who dan't make enough of their own so they won't end up 4 feet tall. It has also been approved by the FDA for short kids who want to grow up to be tall people - DON'T get me started on why I think that's a horrible decision...

hGH is a controlled substance like steroids. It's REALLY expensive, because the US government got worried about counterfeit hGH and decided only ONE company could supply it (free market economy my arse). Insurance almost never covers the cost. It's been shown (yes, scientifically) to reduce body fat, raise lean muscle mass, and apparently has signifigant quality of life benefits. If taken in excess, it can cause all sorts of problems, heart problems, bone problems, etc.

There are also a ton of herbal/other products on the market that clain to raise hGH levels (one I saw was actually LABELED "HGH"), but these, like a lot of supplements, haven't been tested except for marketability.

Interesting. But like I said, I only caught the last 10 min of the 1 hour show.
