I have a long way to go, my max so far is 180lbs, though i dont squat much and am taking it easy due to my tendons being too short to properly squat without it hurting but im gradually stretching them, I havent maxxed squatted in a few weeks so i might be able to push out 200lbs if i really tried lol

I'd say around 250... just started legs back up this month cause of cross country season; before that I havn't done legs since the summer, so I need to give it some time too.

or we're more focused on our literacy skills to be able to train to 490 How tall are you dude? I've noticed short people can squat a lot more Bodyweight/squatweight than taller people, i mean poor NQ here is 6'4" and at 200lbs he's still a damn beampole in comparison to a lot of other guys here (No offence mate, youre one of the strongest here, dont beat me up lol, always remember, as soon as you start getting to 220-230lbs you'll be one damn big beefy guy) yet hes squatting 350+ and that was quite some time ago so he's probably near 400 now. Being taller is a disadvantage with squats, if youre 190lbs at 5'4" or something then youre VERY filled out muscle wise and will be able to squat ****loads in general. Also do you do a full squat? Legs bent right down? Its just that i've seen some seriously big guys in the gym stack on 4 plates each and strain doing 5 reps fully, and these guys are BIG, like 6-6'3 at 240lbs, 4 plates being a good 400lbs nearly, and these are men, like 25-30, they are at there peak of testosterone and muscle building. I have a slight discomforted feeling that your squats are a little kneee bending then straight back up But hey if im wrong then good on you, keep up the great work.

The thing with teenagers and squats/bench press maxes are that they cheat. I used to do it. At school we did maxes, I maxed 420. I can't do 420, i did quarter squats. Also bench presses, there's a certain area when you are pressing where if you go right back up, you could max out 25 pounds more than you should be.

estimated my max at 305. haven't tried it though, haven't got a spotter. i'm 17, 6'2, 185. let me tell you, when you are tall, thats a long way to go down. no quarter knows what i'm talking about.

I'm 17 and I parrallel squat 420. That's what power lifting is. not full squats, your hip bone is parrallel to the ground. and i've used wraps they easily add 30 lbs to your max if not more. I don't like them but I use them to compete at meets. I can get 480 w/wraps, but its kind of like cheating.

i train real hard compared to about 98% of the people i know and work out with, my parallel squat as of yesterday was 2 reps at 600. im back to my old traing routine for football. i powerlift locally, too, so i see alot of the competition at the gyms and around, and its nice to know that the defensive backs that im playing against are only getting about 400 for squats and deadlifts. especially when im THE shortest guy on the team.

the best i've done is 6 repped 175. and 18 yrs old, female. Blah, i'm not so great at squatting...never done a full out max.

just that online people tend to exaggerate and claim to be able to do much more, as if they have something to prove.

Just started workin legs as serious as upper body due to back problems for the past few months. Anyway, never maxed out, but I can do 4-5 sets of 10 or so with 160. I'm guessing my max would be just over 200 maybe 210. (Check sig. for other info.)

My best squat was 365 for a set of 10 which equals a max of somewhere around 490
