Hi im a 19 year old male that used to be quite fat. But now I have lost alot of weight and am skinny. I am currently 14 stone 4lbs and want to get up to get to my target weight of 15 stone 6lbs. I want to do this by gaining muscle. Could someone please guide me in the right direction as I dont know how long to work out for each session and also I dont know how much I should eat.

Youre 200lbs(14 stone 4 lbs if my maths serves correctly)...and skinny? You must be one heck of a tall dude, either that or you store fat INCREDIBLY well, or youre just very lean muscle wise giving you the weight without fat Never exercise a muscle group/area more than one hour, and never work a muscle thats sore Try to split your sessions into a certain muscle every day and have a day off I never have enough time to go to a gym everyday so i TRY my best to split individual muscles into 2 times per week, its tough and slow me down but i just dont have enough time If its the same with you, dont worry, you only want to gain 12lbs of muscle, which can be done with serious training in a matter of months....even weeks if youre genetically stable like that. Can you post a pic? Im sorry to do you down after your dieting efforts but i have a friend who is the same height as me and 14 stone and while he doesnt look fat as such you can tell he has a lot of fat he just packs it well AND STILL doesnt look skinny. As for diet, always go to the RDA calorie amount (2500) and go above if your workouts are more intense, diets must consist of clean foods with lots of carbs proteins and fat (you need fat, but dont go too happy on the stuff lol, but dont feel as though you cant eat fat in food when you dont want fat, your body needs it, and will grow faster with it) 1-1.5grams of protein every lbs of lean body mass 3-4grams of carbs every lbs of lean body mass for an example im 148lbs take off fat (for simple maths we'll say 8lbs) bones (60lbs?) leaving 80lbs so i should be taking in 80-120grams of protein every day (check lol) and 220grams of carbs every day (major check) and RDA fat each day is 95 grams
