Vegetarian Diet - Tuesday, June 21, 2005 11:01 AM ( #1 )
Hi,
I am a vegetarian and my food consists mostly of eggs whites, beans, yogurt and whey protein shakes. I take a lot of meatless frozen items like meatless chicken, meatless hotdogs and other stuff which contains a lot of soy. Is it a good idea to depend a lot on frozen foods for protein intake.

Please go through my eating regime and suggest any changes if needed..

8-30AM - Whey Protein shake(1 scoop+skim milk) and 2 slices of wheat bread.
11 AM - 1/2 Pure protein bar(15 g protein)
1PM - 4 egg whites, wheat tortillos, beans, 1 cup yogurt.
3PM - Protein shake(1 scoop+skim milk)
9PM - wheat tortillos, beans, 1 cup yogurt.

Thanks.

I herd that eating a lot of soy increases estrogen(female hormones).

Frozen foods are ok. But some contain a ton of perservatives, salt, and other junk.

Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.
