What a broad question... That is completely dependant on what you are looking for and what side effects you consider tolerable. Is it worth it to smoke dope? Is it worth it to not go to work today? Is it worth it for me to kick the snot out of this dude for being a jackass? Catch what I'm driving at? Understanding the general intent of your question I will answer it in this fashion. Do not even consider the use of prohormones if (of course this is my evaluation of benefits & risks): 1. You are under the age of 25 -- I personally wouldn't take them under the age of 25 because the hormonal levels you are looking to boost are already high enough. That's why you find yourself on the hunt for that perfect "wife-for-a-night", your test levels are through the roof. You don't want to disturb these hormonal levels at this age any more than they already are. 2. You don't already have your lifting and dieting dialed in -- Most of us already consider ourselves pretty good in the gym, but I know there are guys out there who are looking for the easy way out. They never go to the gym but want to see results from work they aren't putting in... 'nuf said. The second part of that is diet... DIET IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO TO ADD MUSCLE. If you don't have your diet under control... meaning, if you aren't putting on muscle mass already, then no prohormone is going to provide you with any miracle solution. 3. You consider the documented side effects of prohormones (temperment, reduced sexual drive, acne, etc) intollerable. Not to say that you will encounter these from all products, but after you spend $65 on a product and you find that the side effect is too much, it's too damned late. These side effects generally fade with discontinued use, but display a genuine similarity to steroid use -- that should indicate to you that responsible use is required. All of that being said... I have taken them and I would not take 1-AD by itself again, I would definitely stack it with 4-AD to avoid the level of side effects that I experienced. Other than that the benefits I saw outweighed the side effects (which faded if any were present). But that's just my evaluation you have to answer that on your own. Is it worth it to not go to work today?... Hmmm, I'm still stuck on this one. D

To me, I'd rather be small and in shape and be the healthiest i can be in life. Rather than be big and in shape, and see health problems down the road. I have enough medical problems as it is due to my "disability" and stupidly smoking for 8 years before I quit. Then again, everyone's body reacts differently to different things. Unless you are a pro, this is not a matter of how big you get. It's a matter of health and keeping in shape.

Everyone has their max potential... It's OK to push it a little bit, but in a healthy, don't get greedy, though, it will get you in the end, literally!

Steroids are dumb. Messing with your brains chemical levels is absolutely retarded.
