I threw in 2 posts there, but I think they're those ones which you gotta get confirmed first or something. So if he shows both of them, I'm gonna look like an idiot. But it's alright because that's just a silly mistake whereas the video shows a good amount of stupidity, he can't trump it with something else. :p lol

What I don't understand is that it's not exactly one of the ''ego'' lifts is it if you see what I mean? People like to get their numbers up on the squat, bench press and deadlift but who cares how much you can ''good morning''? It's probably a good exercise using manageable weight with form.
Currently using Mri black powder, BCAAs, animal cuts, beta alanine, milk thistle, Cytosport whey, ON casein, Zmax, T bomb II, flax seed, carnitine & conjugated linoleic acid. Going to hit M-drol in the new year.

rippetoe's guideline is that if you do good mornings (as an assistance exercise), they should be about 30% of your squat and you damn well be squatting over 300 lbs. It is a timely topic as I have added them to my routine recently, because the movement directly stretches an area that I have problems with, as well as strengthening the chest up shoulders back portion of the squat (and my front squat has issues with that, although seriously 100 times better than in my video, really I am almost ready to re post, a second one). however I have (with all be it bad form front squatted 117 lbs (i don't back squat), repin 77 for 10 (good form), and my good mornings are at 27 lbs... it is funny because I actually feel the 27 pounds. Goodmornings are just a crazy special little exercise.

Notice when the weight gets way too high it's like all these guys are doing really really bad squats? If they said.. check out my squat... most would rip them a new one! But since it's check out my good morning, they get mad kudos.

My last good morning set is usually up to 205 lbs. It make me do easier the squat. Do good morning back performed better in other excersices. Like squat and good morning I am too worry about hurting my knee or back so I have a psychological resistant to increase weight, specially on squat.

I'm more afraid of hurting my knees on goodmornings than my back.

Good Mornings are a great exercise if you do them properly. Just remember keep your spine neutral and keep your knees SLIGHTLY bent - that one can be the biggest challenge. And as I said before, that guy's an idiot, plain and simple.
