Re:Not Losing Weight

I have already started eating oatmeal in the mornings. I used to eat 3 eggs w/ tuna and onions, but now I do a cup of oatmeal w/ whey and strawberries. It's pretty good. I also have a sweet potato or 2 during the week for lunch w/ a steak that I grill on weekends, so that should be some good complex carbs. The reason that I am cutting now is because I bulked from January to May, then planned to cut during the summer, but that didn't work out. Now, I also have to drop weight for a powerlifting competition in a few weeks, so it works out well I guess. I have taken out some of the fats, mostly through just eating 1 whole egg and 3 whites as opposed to 4 whole ones. I have replaced that with carbs from oatmeal and probably broccoli/cauliflower or other veggies. Thanks for all of the advice, keep it coming!

I lost a metric F*&^ ton of weight doing a carb cycle diet and circuit training once a week. The carb cycle I did was 2 days low carb/ 2 days med carb/ 1 day hi carb. (split in to 6 meals a day no more then a few hours apart) The circuit training was a mix of jump rope, med ball push ups, sprint, med ball sit ups, flutter kicks ect. for 5min then rest 30-120 sec for a total of 3-5 rounds Also you can try doing super sets when training (do a set of iso curls then go right into a twisting DB kick back then rest 90. You might want to try a lipo-6 or Hydroxy

I looked into carb cycling a little bit ago but it is too inconsistant for me. I cook for the whole week on Sundays b/c I work so I just eat the same thing every day. I kind of like that b/c it takes less planning and less thinking. I might try carb cycling when I go back to school next semester though. Also, I have added more carbs and taken out some of the fat and I have seen pretty good results so far, thanks to everyone for the advice.
