I am going to do an experiment and not limit myself to anything but fast food. And when I say fast food that means big chains like mcdonalds, wendy's, tbell...ect.

I am going to do this for a month and record my progress. I will still try and eat healthy but I am not going to limit myself if I feel like eating something. This should result in a much higher daily calorie consumption and hopefully some good gains. I am going to continue to do the same routine as well.

I will let you guys know how it goes.

You gotta make sure the other 50% of the equation training is on point - training.  That means keep the lifting INTENSE - increase the weight of your lifts as often as possible.  If you can do that every workout, then you should.

That is what I try to do. More reps or more weight.

I think I have the ''ab complex''.
Currently using Mri black powder, BCAAs, animal cuts, beta alanine, milk thistle, Cytosport whey, ON casein, Zmax, T bomb II, flax seed, carnitine & conjugated linoleic acid. Going to hit M-drol in the new year.

Ouch, well it can be fixed, but it will be tough.  Let me know if you need some motivation.

Ya know what brihead, I've thought long and hard about it. After summer (I'M ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE EQUATOR), I'm gonna powerlift and bulk up like a man possessed.

And like AdamScott, as I've explained, I love my abs and it's so sad watching them wither away, so from about February to September 2009 I'm gonna need a lot of motivation from you... lol

Thank you for beating that efficient plan into my head.
My plans for next year:
Feb-September 2009 - Ultimate bulk (90% clean of course)
October-November - Cut up, look hot.

I never once said to "powerlift".  People still don't understand me.  I have never "powerlifted" yet.  I have been considering beginning to start training like that though, but I have never trained like a powerlifter.

I say lift heavy, and always go heavier as often as possible.   There is a HUGE difference between powerlifting and just simply lifting heavy.

I say eat a lot, and if you can do it by eating 100% clean and still be gaining weight, do it.  Chances are though that most people eventually will hit a point where they just simply can't eat enough calories to continue to gain weight, so they may have to resort to more caloric dense foods.

If you train intensely enough (intensity meaning how heavy you are training in respect to your 1RM), you WILL NOT get fat.  You may lose sight of your 6-pack, and you may have a little belly, but you WILL NOT all of a sudden look like this:

But if you do things right you may end up looking like this:

it's not cool for you to post pictures up of me like that brihead.

I've been doing the eat anything type approach but keeping it as clean as possible for a few weeks now.  i was stuck at a weight for months but now am finally gaining weight steadily and feeling much stronger in the gym.  Redjeep, you are correct though in that some of the times people go "dirty" because they are lazy or it is just easier.  I would put myself in that category.  I am, however, not saying anyone else is.  but to me, this is just a hobby that i like doing, not an obsession.  plus, i eat 100x better than I ever did 1 1/2 ago so it already is an improvement.

If you or anybody has the energy/discipline to eat nothing but good nutrient foods and are able to gain weight, then by all mean keep it up and don't change a thing.  I personally just don't right now in my life.
No the leg press is not the same as doing squats.

same as up there^^

Basically if there would sell calories pills... something u pop with water that'll just ass 1000 calories right there. dude i'd stock on them head down.. I'm doing it as a hobby too... it's not really an obsession, I'm lifting cause I've got nothing better to do.. if on the side I can get size.. right on. Seems I've been gaining weight now tho.. something like 3 pounds... that pumps me up lol only 2 pound from 175 lbs! that's cool if you ask me cause i've been stuck at 170 for quite a while. this increase makes me focus like a madman on food now, I'm eating so much when I get weight on but I hate it in the same way cause usually it's just temporary =( like in 2 days I'll be back like in between 169 and 170.

Foods with high fat content, are typically calorie dense.  Look at how many calories are in a TBSP on peanut butter.

Is that Franco? I have his nutrition book, he dosn't really condone much "dirty bulk" style eating. haha... He was very much into nutrition and macros.  What a badass. Won tons of powerlifting comps, bb comps, including the olympia and did it only a few years after he started to focus on BB.

I don't think Franco would have practiced your style of eating. He could also deadlift 750lbs at 185lbs. Here are some quotes from his book, he didn't just eat any ol thing with calories.

"The main food enemy to watch in other countries as well as the United States is sugar- and fat-laden desserts. No matter how tempting they seem, avoid them and have a piece of fresh fruit instead."

" When ordering beef or other cuts of meat, always specify that a lean cut be served."

"If you are given French fries, eat only two or three pieces and leave the rest on the plate. Order vegetables plain. When they arrive already prepared with butter or sauce, don't eat them. For salads, oil and vinegar should be brought separately to the table and added sparingly."

and the point I have been trying to drive home...

"As far as I'm concerned, however, the amount of food or its decorative presentation is not impressive when it lacks muscle-building value."

Taken from a great, who accomplished quite a lot.
I know what you mean though bri and I know you think as healty as possible.
