Good Riddance ROFL! I like how there are all these people watching this thread and as soon as something wrong was said we all jump in. Teamwork, eh? LOL, someone has to keep me in check!!! And GR echos pretty much why Rip says. Deads are very taxing, especially as the weight increases. To him, squats are the shxt, and if you aren't doing them, you aren't doing anything.

Good Riddance Hmm, if I'm going to go ahead and do this...should I go ahead and buy the book? Or just follow the routine? :( Did you ask that question seriously thinking someone was gonna tell you not to get the book? Come on, GR, it's just $30. Practical Programming is equally as good, and it goes in depth about different aspects of training not covered in SS.

Or just follow the routine? :( I totally recommend buying the book, regardless if you plan on ever doing his routine or not. The amount of info in there on how to properly do the squat, deadlift, presses and everything else is simply awesome! Almost 50 pages alone on the anatomy and proper technique of the squat!

*sigh* Ok, you caught me NBS lol. I'm just a poor college student now, trying to save the bills lol. Can it only be bought online or could I find it in a bookstore?

My legs are still thrashed from Rip's "A" workout Monday night too! I am about 20 minutes away from hitting the "B" workout. Never too sore to lift!

Find something to hang off the bar. Put rocks in a pair of shoes, tie the laces together and hang them off the bar. Fill some water jugs and hang them. Haha, I like to get creative with things!
