Modagg got deleted?

Looong ago. He had a pretty harsh argument with Duchess if anyone saw it. I had never seen anyone post such rude comments even in bb.com.

Now you guys see how much you miss? Even such a big regular member is gone, it takes you guys weeks/months to notice.

All im saying is i was here before any regular (from my knowledge) and read modaggs comment, and i then went to the gym, had a nice social time with some buddies, watched a film, and the comment was still there.

Which does indeed show a lack of Admin/Mods

Imagine if that was hardcore porn photos, it wouldve been up there for 7+ hours, im not having a go or getting all dissappreciative really im not, i understand only admins can delete users, therefore making any mod that read it in a "cant do anything" situation, but surely a mod could have come along, saved the original, sent it to kris/marc and edited the comment in the meantime...

Like i said i appreciate the moderation, youre the best set of mods ive seen on forums, most have power trips and stuff, but yets right, a 10 week period of no activity does sound fair, especially coupled with reinstating if they ever do come back, nothing lost really, lose 1 mod, we get another, lost mod comes back, we have 2.

Doesnt sound like a problem to me lol

why did sexy vixen ask to be deleted?  that doesn't make sense to me.. she was all GUNG-HO about training/nutrition and started a journal, and then 2 or 3 days later she's deleted???  something doesn't add up

hmmmm its amazing im still on here .... ive had my fair share of arguments but then again im not completely stupid
funny thing is im more of a powerlifter but there is a thread for it yet noone ask questions in that about powerlifting for the most part i could definatley mod that

I hardly would consider him a big regular member.  In the time I have been here, I rarely saw him post.  Maybe he used to be, but it is not surprising that no one would have noticed him being gone, since he doesn't frequent the board much anymore.

She got on a power trip in the WTF thread, and when she realized that no one cared about a member that had only been here a week, she asked to be deleted, possibly thinking someone might actually miss her.

guess i never saw that "wtf thread" that you speak of.  probably glad i didn't get involved then.   it's not good to get into power trips.  that's a lose-lose situation.   I'm here to learn how to better my training/nutrional habits.  I've made a few good friends on here.  I do offer advice and my opinions on the things I feel knowledgable about.

The reason it wasnt deleted right away was only because we were debating on banning him or not, not because we missed it. Tho your right, we should have deleted the thread, guess that was a mistake, I dunno why we didnt, must have not gone through our heads for some odd reason. :P

Plus, I have to let you guys know, we do not ban members that easy here for arguments or anything guys. You guys seem to be very alert. We mostly only ban advertisers and trolls. The argument modagg had was in a different level, Im sure members that have seen it such as twisted will agree.
 
Also no, duchess was never deleted/banned and Vixen asked to be deleted for her own reasons.

That's just it.  He WAS a big time member.  Say if Andy (the mod) got deleted right now, it would go un-noticed for a while because he hasn't been posting recently, even tho he has a hell of a lot more posts than I do.  I'm not trying to start a debate here, but you see my point, right?

I was extremely dissapointed to see it gone, and was thinking that I probably wont be using this site much if at all without it seeing as that was the only thing that really kept us regulars coming back, we know each other, share opinions and talk about day to day life, and it's good because we all have a common interest. Without it there is no way for us to really have fun discussions and feel like a community, and all thats left are the same old questions time and time again from beginners to be answered. I think the OOB section was what really seperated this forum from many others, because thats how we got the great sense of community we have now, without it, DBB wouldn't be the same, I enjoyed the competitions, the debates, the funny videos and everything that went with it. However I am sure if it were to come back we would all ensure that it didn't turn into a flame pit again.
