Never ate em. As far as taste vs. Protein. I eat Clif Builders bar. Chocolate Mint. Fat 8g Sodium 230mg Carb 31g- sugar 20g Protein 20g Best tasting bar out there IMO. Like a mint Girl Scout Cookie. No Chalky taste

IF your going to eat it prior to workout it isn't that bad, nor is it bad if your doing some sort of endurance training.( bike 30 miles,rest,snack,bike) type of deal

That thing is bad. i will agree that it's bad, but it depends on when you eat it if you eat it when you wake up, then it's PERFECT. you want to spike your insulin levels inthe morning, and decrease your insulin levels through the day.
