Interesting article on Paul Chek- T Nation
-
Saturday, June 07, 2008 4:20 PM
http://www.t-nation.com/readArticle.do?id=885647 I really liked this interview, excellent job. I have always liked to read about paul chek and listen to his lectures. Granted, some of it is a little whacky for my blood (colonics), but nevertheless I think he is RIGHT ON when it comes to nutrition and the holistic approach of life between mind/body/spirit, something I have been striving to achieve. I really like that he is passionate about what he does, and just doesn't talk the talk but obviously (judging by his pictures) walks the walk.

Thanks for the awesome link. I'm reading it now and had to pop-back in here and thank you before I get lost in this fantastic interview. I *may* even print this sucker off and read it again! I hate reading long articles on the computer. I tend to skim but this is one I think I've got to print out and read sentence for sentence.

I was going blind reading that silly ass "hardcore" website. So I stripped out the text and pasted it into Word. Deleted the images. Printing it now. I was finding so many juicy tidbits I just couldn't stand the stress of the eyes. What a super find. I did my Web 2.0 service and bookmarked this for other bodybuilders to find. Appreciate you pointing this out.

That was a good read. I really liked this part: "And the first thing they ask me every time is, "What drugs are you using?" I tell them chicken, carrots, broccoli, water, sleep, and a reason to be alive. I go into the gym and lift weights because it's a part of my spiritual practice; it's part of maintaining the temple. I don't need to go to church; I am the church."

I have watched a lot of Chek's seminar's on youtube and am addicted. I especially like the ones on nutriton (there is a lecture at PricePottenger foundation that is good).

one of the points that I think Paul got wrong is the statement that 1 in 2 people die of cancer today. I beleive the statistic is that 1 in 2 people will GET cancer at some point in their life today. The mortality is 1 in 4 or 5 I think.
