RE: Introduce Yourself

Hi everyone my name is Mike. I am 24 and want to start working out again. I use to wrestle and worked out in highschool but that was a long time ago. Since then went to college and now I work outside so I do get some work out from that but not the same thing as working out. I am here to learn more about bodybuilding as I get back into it. I am 5ft4in and weigh about 158lbs. I have no max outs to give right now. A couple months ago down in a basement I did bench press 190lb but I was not working out. I have not taken any vitamins or supplements either but might start some protein powder stuff. Hope I can find some good advice on here. Goals: Pack on some more muscle on my upper arms, forearms are pretty good to go. But also work on my total body.

Hi, Fingerello here. I'm new to this site and I'm just getting back into working out. I have snapped both biceps a couple years ago (tow unrelated accidents 6 months apart) and I'm trying to find the best way to get back in shape. I suppose I was a bit inspired by the contestants on American Gladiator. What can I say.

I am 28 years old. I have started kind of late in the game into fitness. I quit smoking two years ago and have taken a love to weight training since. I am now starting to lose the gut and man boobs that came with not being able to do cardio. I am not naturally strong so my bench sucks...but I have started to take some supplements and clean my diet up. I do No-xplode pre workout and two to three two scoop protein shakes a day. I just got Cell-mass in the mail and am hoping it will help with strength gains. Look forward to reading tips and workout / diet advice

I'm glad to have stumbled onto this forum! My name is Jason. I am 34 years old; I have a lovely wife and a son whose 14 months old. My goals are to have a healthier lifestyle, cut the excess fat and replace it with some muscle. I am 5' 11" at 237.5 lbs. (down from 252 lbs), I look like I have a monster truck tire mid section! I am looking to drop into the 190-200 lbs frame. I used to be this weight while serving in the military, but since then I have lost my way so to speak. I look forward to reading all the information on the forum and asking questions also. Hopefully I will be able to chat with everyone on the board, so don't be shy -Jason

Hello, everyone. Just a note to introduce myself. I am a 38-year-old father of 2 who is just getting into bodybuilding. I have lifted weights for general health in the past, but admitedly after reading many of the threads have been doing it incorrectly - waste of time. I have not been in the gym for 3.5 years so am basically starting from scratch. I have never lifted to get bigger before so this is my first adventure of the sort and am already more psyched about it than all previous endeavors combined. My goals may not be the same as many of you here. I do not intend to get HUGE (just bigger). I do not intend to compete but really admire those of you who do. I do intend on getting bigger, stronger and in WAY better shape than I am in now. Sitting at a desk for the last 12 years has aged me beyond my years and I will no-longer accept the inability to play all-out with my kids. I will get stronger. I will have more energy, and I will become the dad that is not embarrassed to take his kids to the pool. In my early years, I was really skinny. I'm 5'10" and graduated HS at 155 lbs. Age and my sedintary life has packed on some pounds, but mostly fat. With a lifestyle/diet change 2 months ago I have dropped 13 pounds and am now down to 174 lbs. I am now ready to hit the gym seriously. I have already read so many of the posts on here and am thrilled with the knowledge. Thank you. I look forward to sharing this experience and new lifestyle with all of you. God bless and have a great day. --Johnny

What's going on everyone, My name's Thomas, I'm 20 years old and I'm a full-time student a Tennessee State University. I been lifting weights for about 2 years now and just recently decided to take it seriously. I played basketball in highschool and I still play from time to time. My #1 goal at the moment is gaining mass and lots of it. I currently weight 195lbs at around 10% bf. I want to get to 215 at around 5-6% bf. I also want to get a lot stronger but thats on the back burner. As far as my other stats go... height: 5'11.5" weight: 195lbs bench: 330lbs squat: 430lbs deadlift:? a lil more than my squat me in action http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5z3k4_heavy-weight_sport

I'm 16, I don't have too much particular training experience, but Since about 3 weeks ago, I finally started getting serious about working out. My goals are pretty simple for now, I just wanna pack on maybe 10 pounds of muscle, and then get cut in time for school. (I wanna go into senior year looking sexy/buff)

Hi, my name is Bobby I'm 24 and just noticed this site and hoping it can enlighten me on some tips for better lifting as I'm stuck on the same routine and change it little my little. So kind of looking for a possible change. I'm 6'1 188 and have been lifting consistently for abour 8 years. Main thing I hate about myself is getting rid of that stubborn lower stomach fat and My max bench press is 255lbs. I take no explode which seems to motivate me in the gym and bmf protein. So that is about me thanks guys.
