How did you get abs like that?I've got a pretty visible 4pack but your abs put mine to shame.I know you probably got a low bf% but what exercises do you do?

8pack needs to make a thread on this topic. It is really should be a FAQ.

Hey guys, Sorry I havent been on the forum for a while and I think today will be the only day I'm gonna be posting for a while. I got so much stuff going on.

About the abs..

My bf% is pretty low but I do have a pretty thick skin on my abs, but its not fat its skin. I think I have told my story before, I'll tell it again. I started working out close to the end of 7th grade. I didnt know what I was doing. I started doing push ups and sit ups every night for like a year(as the numbers got higher the more boring it got) and I mean everyday, none stop, I just didnt do then when I was extremely tired. Its not overloading or anything so I dont think it was anything bad. I used to hold a dumbell with two hands behind my head for the crunches. By the end of 8th grade my chests were the muscle group everyone noticed not my abs. Doing push ups every night really did help me for some reason. I had the biggest chest out of everyone my age. I had abs but some people had lower bodyfat than me so theirs looked bigger (So we know body fat is the most important thing to abs)

Then I got into bodybuilding..

I learned the right ways to working out. I started doing Weighted crunches and leg lifts. twice a week and about like 4 sets of weighted crunches and 3 sets of weighted leg lifts around the rep range of 5-6. And then "ONE MONTH LATER" (Really weird) my abs just started to show, it happened sooo quick. Then I stayed with the same routine and got then better into "8's" (well we all know the 7th and 8th packs arent really packs, they are some other muscle but it lookes like them so I like to call them 8packs.

So I was kinda lucky for these abs..I didnt do nothin' special[sm=tongue.gif]

My packs are kinda gone right now, im bulking, I might take a picture of em and post it so mda1125 can make fun of me

Heres an intresting fact, Lee Priest doesnt train his ABs at all, I dont think Markus ruhl does either, hell I dont think they do cardio, I know markus doesnt, did you know he smoked, sure shocked me.

Totally true and amazing. I ran across a dude at my gym who's training for a show. I asked him what he did for abs. Nothing.

Blew me away as well. I think part of that is genetic. And the other half is they work those stabilizers so hard that really, they do work abs daily. Just not directly.

I know Markus Ruhl does not do abs because his rutine is so high paced that he said he just melts off the fat. If you spend 5 hours a day at the gym moving weights around im sure you will burn fat as well. Johnnie Jackson dont do cardio either. i do cardio everyday for the past 2 months and i still got my KEG

I started working out at the age of nineteen weighing in at 140 lbs without being ambitious with regard to a professional career. After four years of consistent and intense workouts I felt the decision to participate in the Newcomer Championship 1994 in Hessen, Germany. Unfortunately I hurt my shoulder, so that I was unable to compete. Accordingly I had to delay my first competition. In 1995 after having recovered from my shoulder injury, I competed in the Bachgau Cup in Babenhausen weighing in at 243 lbs and won the heavyweight and overall title. One week later I received 2nd place at the Grosser Preis von Hessen.
In 1997 after 7 years of hard workouts, I won the Hessen Championships and one week later also the German Nationals....................................

19 weighing at 140lbs, haha

your going to need big legs like that to stick all of the needles in. He looks like that from steroid abuse. Nice on the outside. dying on the inside. believe me you don't want the problems that go with looking like him.
