beginner help

i just started here and i was wondering if some body could help me set up a workout routine to maximize fat loss and muscle growth. i am 19 years old 6' 1" and am quite overwieght at about 295lb with about 40 percent body fat. I dont really know much about this so i was hoping some of the more experienced could help me set up a proper diet and workout routine. i live near a gym and have a membership there and they seem to have a good selection of machines. i also have a fairly stocky build and have fairly good muscle mass already as i do quite a bit of physical labour

Love to hear that...post any questions and ALSO post your weekly progress! Nobody does it all perfectly...just do a little better than you have been doing and you will see progress. Strive to do a Little better every week!
