hey, at training i knocked my hip/arse cheek its just a bit behind the hip bone so i thnk if nocked my arse muscle, ive got quite an important soccer garlour tommorow its not TOO bad but it is quite painfull and i need to be at full potentiol, ive being using ice, then a hot water bottle/bath as soon as i got home this moarning, any other things i could do? i know to warm up and stretch off etc before the game tommorow but any help would be nice thanks...

sorry to hear this....are you injuried or hurt? If hurt just get some adveil or some pain killer..if your injuried better get some medical help! There is no need to make things worse. i hurt my ankle once...should have took two days, but did I rest..no so it took four weeks to heal.

its just aching i think ill take some pain killers before i play tommorow, my coach is suoposed to be brigning a heat lamp to help it out a bit...if he ever gets here  lol

thanks, just used the heat lamp no change as i can c yet but im just waiting and goign to rest all nit and sit down really need it to be better im going to have to risk it, im hoping once i gte warmed up it will b toleratable and wont stunt my performenece, ill let you know how i go on

well that didnt go too well...lol a could barely do anything, time to lay back and recover  [&o] hate not being able to do anything but i better take a week off becuase its the summer holidays soon, bak to being out with my m8s and training hard at the gym with my membership coming, i was going to get 1 tommorow but theres no point thanks to my arse/hip just thaught ide let you know, OH and what kind of foods mite help me recover? ive got a heat lamp and going to ice and heat it every day to help it along with the blood cerculation and that but anything else would really be appreciated, i hate not being out and about doing anything such a waste HELP - thanks :P

Keep off the heat for the first 7 days after injury. Then you can start alternating heat/ice therapy for a further 7 days or as long as needed. In the acute phase of an injury (there are some exceptions), you want to avoid heat therapy. Stick to ice only for a little while longer. Get someone to do some deep massage. Stretch it. then Rest Rest Rest Rest. It will come good in time.
