I used the calorie calcultor... Now what?
-
Thursday, July 06, 2006 2:21 PM
So i browsed around the forum a bit, and came across that calorie calculator... Based on what ive read so far, it seems like nutrition is pretty key in getting into your desired shape, so I was wondering if somebody could help me with my diet, and maybe even a little workout regimine. As it is now, I'm 5'9" and weigh 160... 22 years old. I work out about 5 to 6 times a week. I dont really think im in bad shape or anything, id just like to be in GOOD shape. So if anybody could offer me any pointers or advise, I would really appreciate it. Oh and the calorie calculator suggested the following: to maitain: 2773 lose weight: 2273-2357 gain mass: 3189-3328 And thanks again for any help!

Depends on your goal....start with the appropriate one... If you want to put on some muscle...go with gain mass If you want to lean up, go with lose fat... If you do not know which...read the Lose fat, then follow the gain mass Then ask any questions.

I guess id like to be on the high calroie end of the lose fat.. .maybe? my goal is to become much more defined... but i dont want to be "small". does that make sense? i guess all in all, my goal would be a leaner, more defined me, with some added muscle as well. would that fall under lose weight or gain mass? am i confusing?
