I am on my off cycle of Creatine, but what should I take right after my workout?I am bulking phase now.
Bench-305(5 partial reps) Squat-450(4 reps) deadlift-435(2-3 partials) front squats- 225(6-8) leg press-835(8reps) at 19! priceless No Light f***in weights, if you complain just shut the f*** up and go home!!!! Fall 05 pledge class-SiGeP

How much sugar is necessary to get the optimum benefit of the protein? And what kind of suagr? My protein has 5g carbs (2g sugars) and I drink it with a cup of milk (lactose). Is this enough? Or should I eat something like an apple with the protein shake?

5g of carbs seems a little thin for a good insulin response. A piece of fruit would be fine. I'd say at least 20g of carbs.

what about Serious Mass gainer shake(625 cals,12.5 grms of carbs 20 grms of sugar and 25 grms of protein) with a Banana. I take it 30 mins after my workout, do you agree with this or disagree?

Dude... 200 calories are coming from protein and carbohydrate. Have you thought about where the other 425 calories are coming from?

my bad not 12.5 grms of carbs, but 125.5 grms of carbs. Mike this gainer has little fat content. and sugar

25 grms of protein More! Immediately after a workout, I'd try to take in at least 40g
