Which would be a better buy?
-

My first jug of creatine i bought for $18. It has 52 servings (5g of creatine in a serving) I bought it in Vitamin World (Precision Engineered) I was looking at the bodybuilding.com website and it is selling the Ast Micronized Creatine for $30 but there are 200 servings in the jug. I think the difference is my precision engineered creatined has grape flavor so you just mix it with water and thats why the serving size is so much bigger. So buying the unflavored AST micronized would be better right? I am just making sure there is nothing that I am missing. Does anyone have any experience using the AST stuff ...is it any good?

what u need to do is eaither get that ast or get Abb 1000g creatine mono and then buy a 10 pound container of dextrose for like 5 dollars get 1 tablespoon of dextrose to 1 teaspoon on creatine and ull surely be alright. The dextrose is used for spiking ur insulin which helps the creatine get absorbed. BTW dextrose is a simple sugar. Its pretty much cell-tech at 1/4 the price .G peace out

Yeah man. Theres no point in taking a pre-mix creatine. I used to think it was the best thing on earth. Now its an inconvinience. I have to drink a vanilla protein shake and then a fruit punch pre-mix creatine right away for my post workout. Nah. Get the micronized and add 5 grams to your postworkout shake with a bit of glutamine. Add some dextrose, a banana or some honey to spike your insulin and replenish your glycogen stores and you're set. Unless you want to take your creatine before your workout, theres no point in getting a pre-mix.
