I went to a few places today to get some pricing since I' ve been outta the game for awhile. Here is what I' ve found, and I would like your experiences, opinions, or if you were going to buy one based on cost/serving:grams per serving. What would you get?

GNC:
Mega MPR $39 or $27 with gold card. 20 servings:40g per serving
(also has 5g of glutamine per serving, and 2g of creatine)

Vitamin World:
Protoplex Deluxe $49 but $30 for another month. 20 servings:43g per serving
Vitamin World Whey $26 80 servings:20g per serving
Glutamine $18 200 capsules 500mg
Flax $12 120 tablets 1000mg

None.

I' d go with Just-Whey by SportPharma

Superior protein at half the costs you are listing in your post.

Granted.. it' s not a true MRP (meal replacement). But your post asked about

1) Which Brand would you buy
2) What is your opinion on these whey proteins

Not everything you listed is a whey product.. MRP supplements are substantially different from a simple whey shake.

So I' d go with the one I listed as I feel it' s a good protein at a very reasonable cost.

Honestly, I' ve not really heard of the other brands as much.. not that brands mean a whole lot.

Eat more real foods, and supplement your shakes with a lowfat 1% milk product. You' d end up saving even more money and probably doing just fine.

I had no idea that the MRP meant it was desgined to replace a meal. I actually did look at Just Whey. It had 20g and I " think" 20 - 30 servings. However...they wanted $30 for it. I saw the container and remembered seeing it in your FitDay I think.

For whey (or anything for that matter) purchase on line.

Assuming you do, you can get excellent and inexpensive proteins wholesale from proteincustomizer.com.

If you choose to go the retail route, I' d suggest Optimum (best price) or Syntrax' s Nectar (best taste).
