to lose fat do you have to do cardio exercises every single day? which is better every day or every other day?

Well, that depends. If you are just interested in losing fat, and don't care if you lose muscle mass along with it, then, yeah -- doing an assload of cardio every day will do the trick. However, chances are you don't want to lose your muscle mass then you're going to want to be doing something like HIIT cardio (links here and here) 3 times/week, with a session or so of sprinting thrown in (a couple of great articles on this are here and here), with Guerilla Cardio being a special case (and a very high intensity one at that).

If you adjust diet/cardio you can eventually regain the lean muscle tissue back while keeping the fat gains to a minimum.
