light-headedness (Super Pump?) - Monday, January 07, 2008 9:22 PM ( #1 )
Recently (within the past month or so) I've been feeling kind of light-headed during particular excercises. I've never had the problem before, as I've been working out for a couple of years or so.
It seems to have stemmed from one time when I was doing lower back crunches, I nearly passed out when I got up from the bench. Everything went black and I almost fell over (then I glanced around and started stretching as if I meant to do it lol).
I've also recently started taking Super Pump-- although I never had the problem with NOxplod.
Its most intense with down-up excercises, such as squats, deadlifts, etc. But I also get a little dizzy doing other things. Any ideas?

Thanks a lot,
Alex

Firstly I would check the obvious things such as;

1. Are you drinking enough water? Dehydration can cause such effects
2. Are you getting enough energy prior to a workout? Such as a meal or a shake 1 - 2 hrs before?

If these basics are covered, then I would think about having a GP check your blood pressure

I definitely have those covered. What's a GP?
