A much better way to guage your leg strength is by doing full squats.

I actually agree.  For all we know, your 2 sets of 10 could have been with a very small range of motion, which is very common with people trying to leg press as much as possible and not doing squats.

it was full motion i promise cos today i can feel it in my legs and after that i did squats with 125 kg but i only just started out doing legs

instead of wondering if it is a decent lift compared to other people, look at your lift now, and what it was when you started, or if you just started, compare a few months down.  there will always be those stronger then you, and there will always be those weaker then you, so it is all relative.

ok but i thought the idea of the site was to help motivate ppl so things like this should help me i know motivation is the key and no 1 can help u if u cant help ya self but i find ppl helping me and telling me things a boost
