hi there, new memeber here. daniel I have just started a new routine. my old one consited of 1 day - biceps and traps and day 2 - chest and tris. and i did a few sit ups each day. i would rest for 1 day and start again. i know not a very good routine but i got results. i am now working new hours, 9-6 most days, so i am going to the gym after work.i go 4 days a week and rest for 2 adn start again. day 1 - chest and tris, day 2 - bis and abs, day 3 - traps and back, day 4 - legs. im donig at least 2 different excersies per muscle and up to 4 or 5 for some. been doing it for a week now, dont feel as strong as a did. is this cause im changing routines? im about 5'11 and around 175lbs.

Hey welcome to the boards, I'm a little rushed but skimming through your post it looks like your on the right track. Only do 2 excersises per muscle, so it should be 6-8 excersises per day. Make sure you have a high carb/high protein diet and you'll be seein gains in no time :)

thanks. I have increased my diet and im taking whey protein in the morning and after my workout in the evening. I feel, though, cause im used to workking out my bi's and chest every 3 days that im getting smaller cause im only doing them once a week really. i spose its all in my head. kind of like a anarexic. could this be true? Do some people loose muscle faster, so should train more? Shall i stick with it and see what happens?

hey buddy i am in a close situation as you.170lbs about 4mos in working 5days aweek some 4days working each muscle aday.working pretty hard although heavy for me is benching 140lbs and also i dont want injuries so i am playing maybe a little safe but although 140 on bench and 30&40's on curls is pretty heavy for 10reps/4sets.I have taken nitrix, cellmass, noexplode and truemass as a weightgainer and have recently changed to celltech for my creatine and whey for my portein and also taking L-argigine and am considering adding Endothil with oxydrene i seem to be a slow grower.however i can see some slow gains. Can you or any one reading this reply with some advice on what i have told you so far thank-you

well, i thought i was around 170, but i weighed myself the other day, im 166.4. but have now changed my routine to what i said above and in my other posts. i only take whey, once in the morning and once after my workout in the evening. it seems to be working for me. just make sure you dont over train. i am only working one body part once a week. make sure you get your rest in and your diet is there. thats the most importnat thing - diet and rest. there are lots of good posts here, just have a look around.

spludge, Personally I would suggest you to just do a basic push-pull-leg routine, and plus since you're working till 6, I doubt you'd have much time, and if you do, then I guess you're cheating yourself with not eating enough. Something like the following is good. Leg -squats -stifflegged deadlifts -calve raises -crunches Push -bench press -military press -parallel dips Pull -deadlift -rows -pull-ups -crunches
