just a little weird

Over four days ago in the afternoon, I was sitting at the computer doing some work. Not wanting to get up out of the chair, I reached for something behind me and to the right, and felt not so much a snap as a snap/pop. It immediately hurt, but I worked through the pain. I was into what I was working on so perhaps I didnt realize that the pain was there, or perhaps it went away, not really sure. All I know is around midnight, when I finally called it a nite, my trap began to hurt. Day two brought on so much pain I could not carry my purse in my right hand. Day three, no improvement. Day four, same thing, but I figured it was because I was laying on that side when I slept. Last nite I tried to lay off of it. It still hurts today. What the shizzle is going on?

Time for a massage. I've had a few things like that. Usually doing shrugs. It's like if you don't get worked on every so often, your muscles and body just gets tigher and tigher.. then pop! And it's usually doing something like turning, making the bed or reaching too far for something.

i guess u can ice it, though if it's inside i dunno if that's going to help. but has it come back since you started the forum. because today is what, about 6days from the original post you made. if it is still there then you should go to the doc.

You could have compremised a tendon or over stressed a joint, or both. Rest, ice and some advil should do the trick.
