yes it's a good day i can bench more then my body weight am pretty proud can't wait tell next workout

Thats cool. As long as i can bench a little more than my body weight i am satisfied as well. Im not to into wanting to be able to bench the world, just more than i weigh.

It's a good feeling, right?  I don't really care too much what I'm lifting, as long as I'm growing.  But I'll be pretty happy once I hit 1.5 x BW.

i weight 175 i bench 180 today i no it's not much but when i started i could'nt get 100 pounds but i started about  2 months ago  i went up 80 pounds i just wish i was'nt a lazy teenager an got started sooner

i weight 175 i bench 180 today i no it's not much but when i started i could'nt get 100 pounds but i started about  2 months ago  i went up 80 pounds i just wish i was'nt a lazy teenager an got started sooner


dang thats really nice improvent tho. keep it up killa. and dude everybody had to start some where, i know exactly how you feel right now ive been struggling trying to get past 225 for like a lifetime haha

I love to bench !!!! It's my favorite workout. I weight 165 lbs and i push 225 lbs

219 weight trying to lower 217 now. 2 months later. lol.

id like to get 2x bodyweight before i graduate high school. its a long shot but hey.


2x bodyweight is elite for a highschooler as in that's around what the kids here in florida who win states have (the heavier weightclasses are often a little less actually.) If you get that high compete for sure.
 
I myself was able to bench 1.5xmy bodyweight when i did my summer cut but now that im back and cutting again im about 15-20 pounds short. :(

I weigh 170 and benched 205 3 times yesterday. I was very proud! :D :D
