is this smart? - Sunday, January 28, 2007 10:16 AM
im a high school wrestler. have a high bodyfat percentage at 215 lbs during the season, about 230 off-season. im not sure if i should take SuperPump because i dont know if it'll put on a lot of weight, and i want to be 215 next season as well, but a lean, strong 215, is superpump smart? if not what should i take to gain lean strong mass, while losing all the unneeded fat that i have right now. maybe noexplode?

Start eating better.  No magic supplement will just take of BF and add Muscle Mass.  It is your responsibility to watch your diet, and work out smart.

superpump should be fine, although you would get more out of whey protein and creatine and a multivitamin. Take it about 30 minutes before working out. HOWEVER: DO NOT LIMIT YOUR WATER INTAKE WHEN TAKING ANY SUPPLEMENT. It is NOT smart to do anyway, but combined with creatine it could be lethal. Just cut carb intake a little if you want to limit water retention.

nah but the thing is i need to be lean, but have a lot of strength also. what does whey protein do? put on weight? or if i diet and take it, could i possibly be a solid STRONG fast 215? considering im like 30%+ body fat now.

Whey protein is not going to make you gain weight. Diet right and you'll be a fast, strong 215. Diet wrong and you'll lose strength.

Superpump & noexplode are pretty much the same type of product. I like Superpump alot , consider it to be superior to NOXplode. N.O. products won't make you retain alot of water like creatine Mono will. You should be OK as far as thats concerned
Current supps: Cell Tech,Superpump 250,Animal pak,ON 100% whey
