Just a comment on this...you absolutely can gain muscle.  In fact long term research across the board showed at your age not only can you but it is extremely healthy!!!

On th multi-vit...go for one without artificial stuff in it!  Which means no GNC brand...try the health food store!

just like he said, its defintrly possible to gain muscle.  Take a multi-vitamin everyday.  And in order to gain muscle you need protein.  If you want mass increase your calories and carbs.

Hi, you certainly can add mass.

This is a starter routine recommended by another member smoundzou, very knowledgable guy.

I would check out the links that are in Danmirage's signiture, your are going to have to eat, how you should eat is very well explained in his post. He I believe also offeres some good routines.

  If you're a beginner, whether you're a man/woman 15 -50 years old..

Start with the basics..
1:Plan a good balanced diet
2: incorporate a solid Proven routine
3: Be consisitent and don't expect overnight miracles.

Here's something to get you heading in the right directions

Monday/Wednesday/Friday
Squats: MONDAY & FRIDAY ONLY-START LIGHT: 2X8
Deadlift: WEDNESDAY ONLY-START LIGHT: 2X6
Bench Press / Incline DB Press 2X8-12
Military Press / Standing DB Press 2X8-12
BB or DB Rows / Seated Rows 2X8-12
Calf Raises: 2X12
CG Bench Press: 1X12
DB Curls 1X12

On some of the exercises above there are two options, pick on and then the next day do the other..

After you're body gets use to this routine.. you may want to bump the sets up to 3.. do this for 12 weeks, eat clean and do some type of Cardio on Tuesdays and Thursdays for about 20-30 minutes and I think you'll certainly see some incredible changes in your body..

Try out this routine or something like it.

3 full body routines, incorporating, squats, deadlifts, rows and benchpresses is the way to go to pack on some muscle, for the beginer especially.
